8 to 12 percent of people using prescription opioids develop an abuse disorder,
with heroin I'm sure it is quite high, but probably because its the only highly physically addictive drug on your list

I hope someone has time to read this. I might write too long posts, but it's all basically about drug taking in Thailand and how to maintain opioid addiction even on abroad and on on work. My experience with Thailand local addicts and users, etc.... And also my own tries to kick the opium devil out, and how much its has affected my life(reason for this text-wall might be the really good speed I got today (meth???... most likely only meth, uh it has been a time when I had this strong meth, its not very popular here.)
Yes opioids are the most addictive thing in the world. I was fascinated about them because of opium. People have used over thousand years, it was big think in Asia for long time, almost 70% men were smoking opium. I read many books about it it was very interesting. Also I've watched many documents about heroin and other opioids addiction. I surely know what way I'm going to take, very bad decision. Thats why I chose opium in poppy seed form, at first I loved it did every weekends I already waited on work in Fridays to get that great blizz, then after 1 month of weekend use I got addicted that I needed to take it every day to able to wake up and do work, I had great time for one year, after that I felt depression I dosed many time just to make me happy to do think like reading books. It's hell of an addiction like any other opioid.
I warn that opium, poppy pod tea, poppy seed tea and any other way to consume poppy/opium inside it will lead to addiction, for me it was one of the most powerful opioids, at the start it was greater than oxycodone or any other drug Iv'e tried except the tramadol analog that they sold while back. It gave me feeling that nothing cares, if I have stress in work no problem opium will dissolve it, had some pains after wisdom tooth was taken out, no worries PST (poppy seed tea) took that away, also when my leg had surgery I used PST to make the pain less, because in here they don't give much pain medication, beside ibuprofein or paracetamol. So some of my workmate is total dick who should get killed sometime (I¨really think like this), but thanks to opium I didn't care about him I was in my own warm bubble. I was best worker there, maybe thanks to opium. I had to quit it as it as I was using already 3 years daily and I got every two months bad migraine like headache where I vomit for two days (imagine how i could kept my opium milk inside me, many time I couldn't but I had to try. Also constant shitty feeling even that I raised my doses and drunk it every 3 hours. SO I decided to quit by my own, it was ride, some days when I was out of drugs I really felt like my body is burning it was horrible, I could only think about suicide, luckily phenibut saved my day, even that it took full 6 hours before I was feeling good. I cant stand WD's raw, not Opium WD's and from my knowledge and from other people experiences its more horrible than oxycodoen, or buprenorphine, or heroin or fentanyl, because opium has over 40 alkaloids, so you get addicted many many alkaloids not just morphine and codeine. I can't imagine if I would get stopped by police while I was driving under influence for 3 years (luckily I never have stopped) and they put me in custody and I'm WD'ing and doctor wont give anything. But at least opium gives the same positives as morphine and codeine, so I can tell I used OTC codeine and show the package in my home, they can't do anything. So maybe I wont get into troubles, I never had to experience WD's during my use, I always got seeds for one month use. In some state the seed quality went down so I had to use twice more, so twice more money went. I couldn't make saving because all free money went to opium. Now last time when I relapsed started again 4 months use, the first month was great so because I only needed 250mg seed for day, I had more money to spend bought 1700e 55" OLED and 2000e worth of PC which I myself assembled as I enjoy it very much, I'm really into computer gaming and also I need my every technical device to be top notch. Oh how much money I have spend on drugs, I could buy really nice HIFI audio system or my other hobby traveling, no change, even when I used 3 years, I had good paying work, I had enough money to travel even with addiction. and I say its really shitty to take big bottle of poppyseed-tea, drink lots of it airport and but rest to my suitcase not really scaring if in Thailand they stop me and check my thing, that has never happened those 6 times before when I went, they only stop Nigerians or other black people, racism? Well in plane when the effect of poppy seed had deceased I took 200mg loperamide, and it worked 24 for good, got even euphoria from it. And from the first day my mission was going pharmacy shopping, search place where they sell big amounts of tramadol, pure codeine tablets and valium, If I had them I took 1000mg tramadol and 10mg valium to prevent seizures and then codeine 600mg got huge histamine reaction but felt great that I have felt for long. But if I took only even 1500mg tramadol it helped only little (very dangerous but I used valium too) Then slowly but surely its very rare to get tramadol from anywhere they cracked it down because teens abused it until got seizures sometimes also dying. One place sold 10 10x50mg for about 10 dollars, if I got lucky I got depots. Finally went to one city were there wasn't much tramdol, but I discovered pregabalin and gabapentin, took WDS away straight away I also used baclofen, gabapentin with baclofen makes you feel like taking GHB very first time, but has to be very careful when taking it, I took too much and finally walked and talked like drunk person and I fell to sleep while getting massage. I also smoked lots of yaba and crystal meth with local people some times with prostitutes. Heroin was available in Bangkok but too risky, I was more interesting smoking the real gold OPIUM with local hill tribe people up in Chiang May, but never really tried to get anything even that I knew it easy up on the hill, hill tribe old men still smoke it even after big crack down on 70's. So I just drunk alcohol, smoked meth, used pregabalin and gabapentin and finally one day I woke up without any opioid WD's I also felt great thanks to last day gabapentin dosing to 4g.
I remember one day when took tarmadol 2000g, I met one young 18 yo girl I asked if she want to test tramadol it makes you feel very good, she was very excited and she took 400mg, she was really really on opioid high, I know that for many people when their are pretty much opioid naive, tramadol works as strong as oxycodone, it makes you nod for days, very pure euphoria and warmness inside, I regret it much I didn't even tell that taking over 400mg might cause seizures if not taking with benzos, also if she got seizures from later use or fall to opioid addiction its all my fault and I think I already have met my karma I'm in deep problems with opioids again and suffering WD's also I also got seizure later on from tramadol. Also one night when waiting one of my local friend went looking for yaba or crystal meth for us, I gave her friend who was also waiting in the house 300mg pregabalin and we had most intense sex there is, it can be very euphoric "trip for hours", I got bored after a while for waiting so I long (has been already 3 hours and she called it takes 3 hours more because she has to go another city to get it), don't know what she felt from pregabalin in the end because sometimes it takes long time to work, but I'm sure she was good, After 4 hours when I was in my hotel room sleeping they tried to contact me because they had the crystal, but I was so tired I didn't answer even that they called 10 times. When I was heavily addicted I gave tramadols everybody who wanted because they were so cheap in Thailand, normally 10x50mg is 1euro/1dollar depot 100mgx10 is around 5e. So I was with this one beautiful ladyboy (more beautiful that woman can ever be) and went to her room after a while, had the best sex ever you can get, after sex I took 600mg with valium to take that emptiness away that I feel after sex or masturbation and as she asked what I'm eating I told tramadol and offered her 300mg which she took, she told that normally they take tramadol with promathezine, this mix often causes serious seizures, but she told it feel great. I told that tramadol is very addictive that you shouldn't eat it every day and I'm addicted already and can't stop, also told about the seizure risk with over 400mg. She took the 300mg tramadol and she drive me home without problems. I didn't want her take too much or she will get seizures (real problem in Thailand, it seems in schools they don't teach that over 400mg migh cause seizure if not used with benzos, must be the usual drugs are bad instead some real useful information if some decide to use it. I got seizures from 2,5g tramadol even that I had anti-seizure med gabaspentin 3g, it seems its not very effective. I could take 3g tramadol with 5mg valium without any seizures, Stupid I know but when you want to feel something you do crazy things.I must say most people didn't want to touch tramadol even many of them have tried it, I gave little to my mototaxi. I liked to take drugs with the local people, but adults use meth and teens use tramdol mainly, but also lately meth, youth seems to be morea ware of meth risks so they do only ecstasy, ketamine, pot, shrooms and LSD, but of course there are the meth users in every age rank from year 10 to 50 years old and from every class, you can read news when some rich guy drives like crasy with his car while smoke too much meth. So its not only poor people problem.
So I was clean again only on 3 weeks in Thailand, I was happy went to cruise with motorbike, went to one bar to drink beer, it moved to many bears, and when I get drunk I feel I want to get high from opioids, so I was stupid went to search tramadol and pure codeine, took them both and felt fantastic. but so the addiction started again, every day need something to help get through day. In other trip to Thailand I got buprenorphien and temesgic from shady pharmacy, also they sold ritalin (yes the quick acting ritalin that you can snort too) I bough both, also there were codeine and lots of steroids, Took buprenorphien in mall hall WC. I welt great but somehow very angry too, everything annoyed me even that I felt good, this worked very long, One day I went to get Ritalin for Me, one Australian guy and one Estonian guy who I met in in on bar, the Estonian guy even trusted me enough that he kept his backpack in my room for one day, because he was waiting for plane and was canceled last room already. SO after I went to buy the ritalins I was very paranoid about cops, but it went all well, so we all just ate them, maybe 100mg. First I got so paranoid that I I got so fucked up that when the Australian guy insisted that we got to night club dancing and hanging out I was scared if police do some urine testing like they sometimes do in nightclubs, I denied the invitation to go to Nightclub, the Australian guy got really angry and asked whats wrong with me, you some weirdo who cares police huh, he was very aggressive, but the Estonian guy came to calm his Australian friend, so they went to club together while I was heading to the beach. There I met some Algerian guy. I started to talk with him for long time maybe one hour we talked about everything, I really liked him, he also asked if I had facebook so he can add me and continue talking as we had really fun, I said nah I don't use it (which wasn't true), I was too paranoid for cops and had lots of different things, I really liked the guy seemed really kind and intelligent, when I felt I was too tweaked out that couldn't speak much anymore I decided to head to my room so I took mototaxi for fast travel.
But I really want to avoid people, like one time had great time with one Finnish guy started from Helsinki airport we drunk together smoked together then bough many little vodka bottles sold in tax free, so I got them to plane, we continued drinking and talking about lots of things, he was businessman who visit many countries in on month, every week on plane to new destination. We met 22 other Finnish people so we hanged out with them too, the good thing was that thee plain was half empty so I could sleep my legs laying on the seat. When we arrived Thailand I bought tramadol 100mg depot from airport pharmacy because back then it was all legal, took it in from them and I said it helps with hungover and it really did, also offered to him he refused, this on new guy who we met on plane told me "you using drugs huh? You are trouble." I said no, I use medicines that are legal in Thailand, why would they sell drug in airport? So we took the same taxi with this guy that I med in Helsinki Airport, he invited me to his hotel room, so went to look it and it was fantastic, then we went to roof where there are seating place, so swe sat down and ordered some cold Chang beer (0,7l with 7%, that makes me drunk easily), we talked about many things, about his work and so one, but finally I felt like all my social energy has used up, so most time I just sit silent not talking anything, he gave me his business-card, and told that he is very pleased if I want to add him to facebook. I left after that to do other thinks, I never contacted him afterwards, who knows maybe he had some work offerings for me too, missed change because of my social anxiety. I was full blown opioid addict, I also tried to get harder stuff, but only buprenorphine is what I got from Phuket, never saw Oxynorm, heroin was available by mototaxi and from Nigerias, but I was too paranoid about OD (they often have 100% purity heroin straight from Burma) and police. I had one girlfriend there I offered her some tramadol too but she refused.
I have many times had nice good people who want to be my friends, but I can't be anybodies friend, its too hard for me. Somehow many people like me and want to hang out, even that I''m most times introvert. I can't understand, only friend whom I had when I was sober was refugee Iraqi Kurd, he never have drunk even pinch of alcohol, never been drunk but he enjoys going to nightclubs, he is hard smoker tho, not pot but tobacco. I could talk with him about anything, religious themes, sexuality / I think he is bisexual, he haven admitted it but I can see it), suicide bombing, Kurdistan, Isis, when he said that god made this all for us I said all that just maybe it evolved to be like that, he didn't get angry but said yeah we cant really know. Hes friend was totally to drugs he went to Greeks to smoke that cheap meth, also he smoke lots of weed and drink a lot, have sex with many woman even that he has girlfriend already, hes sometimes all right, he told me who can tell that this Muhammad in Islam is legit guy, anybody can say that they hear messages from God, I really admire he courage to think outside of the Islam view, he could never said something about that in hes own Muslim circles, too but that I didn't encouraged him more about that subject like, he is more to Zarathustra religion, witch was Kurds original religion before Muhammadans came with their swords and made most of them to convert, rest was but in dimmih status, pay 50% of your income to Kalifate, give 50% which you own to Kalifate, can't practice you're religion, you have to wear costume that makes people laugh at you. You have to give rest place in you're house for every moslem that comes to the city. He also enjoyed porn and showed me how some woman send him any picture he wants, so I told him that he should tell that get butt-plug and play with it, and next day I got to see the pictures her playing with her but with butt-plug. He also invited me to ship cruise where this woman comes with his friend and we both can have sex, I skipped, I hate cruises. Also one time she showed picture of some sexy 16 old showing her sexy clean butthole, it was illegal and I told him so he deleted it, even that it was a very good picture. Well I've had friends, but it has been 3 years since I've been contacted to them. The good and decent Kurd I once saw in the street so went to coffee and spoke the situation in Iraq and about Dash (Arabian for for ISIS). I'm, sure if I knock hes door one day he welcomes me and its like nothing have changed, and we are like old friend again speaking stuff and smoking cigarettes after cigarettes and drinking black coffee. And eat some big and nice Kurdish food on the ground. Ah good times...
So what do I have to say I enjoyed giving people drugs and look how it affects them, I loved to smoke meth with local people, not with some farangs (its neutral most of the times like I use now but can you also as derogatory term. It most likely comes from Thai world for France people (farangseet, cant really write it in roman scripture) the first Europeans that Thais met, so now all whites are farangs, so its little bit like all Asians are Chinamans, Thailand don't have this "political correctness"). I did see really sad side of Thailand, like really ghetto small places to live, and many of them smoke there meth most of the days, they don't care if someone smokes there.
I met these two woman in night while I was very drunk and angry about many things, and asked if they can find some yaba as they looked methusers , they said yes, lets go to my hotel room first and she calls to her dealer, after a while some guy came with motorcycle and brought 3 yaba tablets, one for everyone, as this was really the first time for me to smoke yaba or crystal meth I was little scared of it. first I crushed my pill and snorted, they asked why you did it, why you don't smoke it, thats not good for nose (like smoking meth does anything good for lungs). Then I was aaah ok I take some smoke, they started they're own and I used my half pill that was left, and smoked straight to my lungs. I felt something strong coming up I got anxious so I took about 10 5mg valiums, and guess what I fell asleep for 9 hours. After I woke up my staff was gone, my camera (surprisingly they removed and left the memory card placed on table so I don't loose my photos, what a thoughtful thief's), my expensive belt, money form my Wallet around 10000bath so around 250e/dollars.Good that I had lots of money in my trousers stealth belt where you can hide lots of money, at that moment had there 40000bath so 1000 euros/dollars, good they didnt know that trick. Good that I had mobilenumber of one of the woman as she gave it to me when she went to get yaba and tell if everything is cool. I called to her and asked why did you stole my stuff, she was silent for awhile, no answer, then suddenly she said ok, I send my friend to pick you up and lets make everything right. I think I still felt little bit meth, but this time I wasn't scared, I wasn't thinking that I get mugged or murdered now, I felt this going to be interesting event that I remember whole my life. So there we got to the ghetto, when I walked along the small pathways most people looked badly or confused on me, they must thought what this farang is doing here, go away. Then I went to other woman house who I think was the main thief, and really in her house there wasn't any items, bed, television, cloths, just nothing must be that he has sold everything for meth, only empty room left, I talked about the stealing, then she said lets smoke some pure crystal meth and I had to pay for it of course, then we both were tweaked to the core, and I asked again about the stolen stuff, then she said ok you can get you're camera back and she gave it to me, then I asked my expensive belt, she said I have never seen it (lie, before they came to my hotel room I had the belt in my closet, after that it was missing and clearly they checked the closet very good), then I asked about the money, she gave me few hundred bath and said she took only that much (lie, she most likely bought crystal meth or yaba with her friend ans smoked whole day thats why they told later they were so tired), so we decided to to go to his friend house who was also in my hotel smoking yaba, this other woman had 13 years old daughter, and the mother had just found yaba smoking pipe in her stash. So she gave lean lesson to her, by words (not violently). Father had left them many years ago, But well if all your peers in home and home street smoke meth then its easy to slip for it too. There we smoked some more crystals and talked for 10 hours I think, I cant count the time it felt like 1 hour, I also asked does anyone in Thailand inject meth, she said no its disgusting nobody does it (which in understandable freebasing is as strong as injecting if not stronger, by many studies many IV addicts choose freebasing/smoking/vaporizing over injecting meth), also its true only ketamin vials are injected to muscle or heroin to veins, but heroin use in very low, I told that in my country some people inject it but we mostly snort it, we don't have crystal or yaba stuff like that that you can smoke/vaporize/freebase. I went to her WC I had diarrhea from the meth, she said do you have HIV, because people who do have they have diarrhea, I told him strong stimulant make me crap or piss nothing serious. then I asked if someone can get me some valium to calm my nerves, well one of the methaddicts told OK and after a while she came back with balcofen, lol. Then I had to go to ATM to pay for the baclofen, both were there, somehow I lost my credit card, and I was sure they took it, they told no we didn't, anyway I called to bank service and and canceled the card so its unusable. We went back to their place. While we were speaking, some guy came to the house and asked if I wanted weed it looked not the best quality, and I never have enjoyed cannabis, I don't smoke it even if its free, so I passed it and asked cocaine, he said that takes time now. After a while the two woman said they were very tired they haven't slept for 3 days, so I understood that I need to leave, maybe they got tired of me or they really were tired, they looked at least very worn out. On of their friend, who was boy maybe 18, took me back to my hotel. He was nice guy and I thanked for ride. I still was high whole day, I think from last meth token I was up next 24h, very hard to count time fly's very fast when smoking meth. It was good plan to call to them and go meet them, after buying them crystal, they were more ready to give my stuff back, but fuck the money they totally smoked already, so these wasnt anything left anyway, but I still miss my cool looking belt. Maybe one day when I'm in Thailand see someone wearing it.
