Whether something is obsolete or has value depends entirely on your perspective. You make your own reality. Not that you make the circumstances of your reality, but you decide how to frame your experiences and what to believe and how to think about things, which becomes your entire perception of reality. Two people can view the same situation and have entirely opposite ways of viewing it, entirely opposite ways it makes them feel, entirely opposite ways they let it affect their personality.
