Title. A buddy of mine took a really clean, well reputed roll a few days back. His drug test is 7 days following. He's aware that MDMA can be detected in urine up to 3 days in most cases, but that a standard 8-panel may hit positive for amphetamines or methamphetamines up to 5 days after MDMA usage.
Considering he is a heavy drinker and estimates that about ~48 hours of the 7 day span was spent primarily metabolizing alcohol rather than other substances, he is concerned his test will indeed test positive for amp/methamp.
So the question is, if it were to, and they were to send it off for GC/MS confirmation, would they just consider it a false positive with no distinct results, or would there be any way for them to get back in the results that it was caused by MDMA? Or is there a third option here?
Cheers!
