My name is Raminta Daniulaityte ([email protected]). I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Population and Public Health Sciences, Boonshoft School of Medicine, Wright State University. We are interested to talk to individuals who are from the Dayton, Ohio area and who are current users of heroin, fentanyl and/or other opioids. We want to learn more about self-treatment practices. The study was approved by the Wright State University Institutional Review Board (ethics committee).

Wright State University is conducting a survey-type study with people who use opiates (like heroin and/or non-prescribed “pain pills” and other).

You may be eligible to participate in the study if:
1) You have recently used opiates;
2) You think you may be dependent or addicted to opiates.

If you are selected for the study, you will be paid for participating.
This is a scientific study, not a drug abuse treatment program.
The study is not in any way linked to or affiliated with police or courts.
