Methadone and swallowing.

Hey guys. Just recently started on Methadone treatment and I'm taking 40ml/daily.




Anyway while I'm on Methadone I find it really hard to swallow solid food. Even if I chew it up into mush I find it hard and sometimes liquids can be hard too. Just wanting to know if there's anything I can take or do to help with this side effect thank you.

I was on 4x that amount of methadone daily for 10 years (prescribed for severe nerve pain) and never had any trouble swallowing. Sorry I can't help you.
