I have been a user on and off for about 10 years plus. I recently had to go to the ER due to severe anxiety and body pain while on a 2 day binge. It has not been the first visit also. But while I was seen in triage, the nurse took an EKG, results were basically concluded as anxiety attack. I was given Ativan and for the musculoskeletal pain I was given a shot of Toradol and Rxed Tramadol. Another time before that recent visit I was given Tramadol for the pain due to using amphetamines prior to arriving in the ER. I always try to keep myself INFORMED and look on Medscape.com and Epocrates.com which both have apps that you can download. These are very useful to me whenever I am given a medication. These apps will look for interactions and contraindications with most drugs and supplements.
Please take note that I am not a Dr or work in the Medical Field. Although I have a goal to become a AOD Specialist or within a similar profession I like to utilize my time to find and give others important and correct information.

As I said before,
I was given Tramadol for the after symptoms of using amphetamines within a few hours from each dosages. There were no adverse side effects that I had while waiting in the medical room, but keep in mind I was also given Ativan and a shot of Toradol. I was also being observed the next couple of hours or so. Each person is different, from the way their metabolism functions while taking certain drugs, how the drugs interact with one another and how the body functions are affected by those drugs. I have seen other websites with posts of people had experienced the two drugs together and separately in a 24 hour period, had not so great side effects and outcomes even being under medical observation and care.
No two people are alike when it comes to this. I can only say from my own experience with the two drugs received through medically certified treatment. If you want to be on the safe side, just talk to a medical professional. Sometimes you have to be vigilant with Dr's about the meds they prescribe to you. Hope you found some help with my experience.
