why my throat hurts so bad?

I often watch on youtube people smoking weed and they seem to enjoy it, but for me it hurt my throat like hell. I´m smoking for 3 months now and never get used to it. I put the hash in a pin, light it, cover with a cup and inhale with a straw.
What am I doing wrong?
 
Getting a good bong might help. If you can get a multichamber bong, then you can also put ice in the stem which should help smooth everything out quite a bit.

Is it just a burning sensation? I also find stale smoke to be really harsh, so if your not inhaling it right away, it can make things harder on the lungs.
 
Sounds like you should invest in a vaporizer:) or lnvest in both vapor bong smooooooth
 
I've been smoking almost everyday for 11 years and I still have the most wicked newbie cough, lmao. Anyone who inhales smoke and doesn't have at least some throat irritation is definitely a statistical outlier
 
but what drives me crazy is the people on youtube. They look like if they´re eating chocolate or something. I want to enjoy it like they do
