Withdrawal symptoms? I'm not even sure of what..

Hi,

I have fluctuating tremors, muscle rigidness and weakness along with insomnia, mental confusion and apathy.

It's fluctuating throughout the week and it's getting worse. Is this benzo withdrawal?

It could be if you recently stopped or dropped your dosage.

Kind of obvious that it's withdrawal if you were taking benzos and just stopped taking them.

Memantine, how much were you taking and when was your last dose? It sounds like benzo withdrawal symptoms and can make a person really sick. Do you have any medications that could help with this? Diazepam and clonidine come to mind.

Well I have been using benzo's for years but not on a daily basis. I take and average of 40mg zolpidem and 2mg alprazolam per week. But last weekend I combined my alprazolam with 450mg pregabaline and the symptoms I described started two days after the drugs wore off.

Could it be an acute withdrawal reaction in response to a single large GABAergic combination? Maby the cumulative dose of CNS depressants in one week is getting too much for my brain to handle?
