Sorry for asking this but I'm desperate. If I'm 44yrs old, and have an underactive thyroid, will the ephedrine still help me lose weight, and how much should I take each dose? Thank u all for reading this.

Hi mate, welcome to BL.

Whether you lose weight depends on what you eat, and how much exercise you do. The ephedrine might give you a boost for a while, but without those other things getting sorted, your metabolism will just adjust to it, you'll probably eat more, and eventually you'll regain the weight.

What does your diet look like? How much exercise are you doing?

Also you say you have an underactive thryoid - is this an official diagnosis? Is it being treated?

I recommend you visit an endrocrinologist. They can prescribe you T3 or T4 if necessary for the thyroid

Then afterwards you can by all means try a low dose of ephedrine (20mg ED is enough for most if they have legit ephedrine) if you wish to speed it up more
