Xanax and Alcohol

First off, I know combining benzos and alcohol is a very bad idea.

Anyways, swim decided to take a bar and have one vodka drink. Nothing crazy. Swim blacked out within two hours and there were things thrown all over his room and in complete disarray.

Why would this have happened?

By mixing benzos and alcohol !

The two really should not be mixed as they can cause you to blackout - during these blackout times your not always just asleep but often up and about "thinking" your doing your normal stuff but in reality your causing chaos. Such a simple task of say going to the fridge, getting a drink and maybe making a sandwich means you wake up next day with your house looking like a tornado has hit it :D.

People have seriously hurt themselves and others with this combination so tread carefully. (some great benzo stories here).
