question about closed threads....

Is there a specific reason you cant deleate(your own) posts from closed threads or is it just because the option is inside the "edit" function?
Staff, have you ever entertained the idea of creating a seperate "deleate" function or am i overlooking an obvious conterproductivity to the website.

It's because the delete option is inside the "edit" option, as you say.
If you need a post deleted that is in a closed thread, PMing the mods of the forum in question and politely asking them to delete the post (with links and stuff to make it easy) they should hopefully oblige and help you out

Thanx for the reply spacejunk but no, i dont need a post deleated.
I am aware of PMing the mods(as ive done it in the past), i was just curious as to a specific reason(if there is one) for it being setup that way.
