I had an older woman (who had been around the block, mind you, AND wanted to fuck me) tell me that young girls are often very insecure and shallow, and also "pillow princesses", less likely to give a slightly below average guy a chance unless he somehow flatters her or whatever.

I guess the problem with me is that I simply don't give a fuck about that. I've had to get over my ego growing up and being independent, I don't have time for someone else who can't do that. I guess it may limit my chances a bit, but hopefully once they reach like 25 or whatever and start to lose their pretty girl phase they realize that they were fucking themselves by dissing the guys who were actually good boyfriend material and wasting their time with douchey assholes

Are you prepared for a potential physical confrontation? I don't think you should proceed with this because if that were to happen it may leave some negative associations with you. Just saying.

Cream Gravy sort of alluded to a very important point, regarding desperation and wanting what we can't have. You need to realize you're the prize here, not the other way around. Even if you don't feel it you need to accept that you can be that to someone. Hold yourself with a slight air of mystery and confidence, a certain aloofness like you don't care either way, but still turn on the charm. No woman likes the "Please fuck me" vibe, but they do have more time for the "I'm already banging this other girl/s, but I guess you could fit me in" (even if you're really not) vibe. In summation, don't sell yourself short!

And so what if you look young? If you keep reasonably healthy and still keep that youth when you turn 30 you'll find yourself higher up the desirability chain than a lot of guys who let themselves go!
