How to get 10 days off work?

So i have a new job at a cafe now for a week, and im planning to take 10 days or something off work to visit another country, in about 2 or 3 months. The problem is Im new there and if i asked for annual leave il probably get a no as an answer.

So because this is highly likely to happen, I'm thinking what can I do to get 10 days off without being fired when i come back. I was thinking calling in sick when the time comes. What do you guys think?

Just talk to your employer about potentially taking the time off, most employers when given advance notice have no problem with people taking time off.. It's in 2-3 months, the earlier you ask the better chance you'll have to get given it.

sure. while you're at it, why not steal some money from them to pay for the trip too?
