Ok this card is awesome! Two title fights! (Welterweight, lightweight)

I know everyone's pumped for the lightweight title fight, so am I, I hope Eddie tears connor apart.. Can you imagine how arrogant that li'l shit would be if he's carrying around the 145 and the 155?? 8( but I'm more hyped up about wonderboy vs woodley!! That will be the fight of the night!

Cowboy vs Gastelum will be every bit as advertised too.

Also Ms. Tate is fighting, so my eyes will be more than pleased!
 
Aye the card is looking brilliant!

In regards to Conor, I'm Irish, but have no allegiance to him. I'm basically always pleased to see any Irishman do well in competition but I think Eddie is the superior fighter. I thought that if the Conor vs Dos Anjos fight had taken place, Conor would have lost but I may never know.

I think you're right about how much more tortuous McGregor will be if he's carrying around two belts :\

I don't care who wins, I just want to see a good performance from both of them, and for that fight not to overshadow the rest of the card.
 
Do you guys pay for these things? I always just watch the highlights the morning after but this one looks pretty sweet. What's it gonna be $70? $80?

We're quite socialist in Ireland so we can either get the PPVs included in our welfare benefits or just offset it against our pension entitlements.

Buffalo wild wings always has the fight, or a lot of sports bars do too.. One of the bowling alleys I drink at carries all the fights, so that's where I usually watch it.
 
one of the MOST exciting times in the fight game is happening right now. there's been no magic since tyson

ufc 205 has the best card you could ask for and aldo got cut out completely. lol


if conor wins he'll transcend fighting as ALI was able to do . veryyy interested to see what that reality would be like
 
man we're getting close. this woodley vs superboy fight is gonna be very interesting.

if conor wins this belt NO ONE will ever be able to shut him up

the woodley fight is gonna be fireworks but the conor one is a superfight. all these weight classes he's jumping in and he's a fuckin fanatic about what he's doing.
if conor was like 6 foot 190lbs he would be the most dominant fighter ever

don't patronize me of course not. he can actually fight but you seen how the weight limited his ability against stiff ass diaz. 6-1 foot 205lbs is the perfect build.
too bulky you will never last the time in a street fight.
below 190 overall strength is compromised

I'm SO Got damn stoked for this card! Jeebis even the preliminary card is stacked, shit the prelim card looks better than a lot of previous main cards!

These are some of the fights on the prelim card;
Frankie Edgar vs Jeremy Stephens
Khabib vs Michael Johnson (rip johnson)
Rashas Evans vs Tim Kennedy
Jim Miller vs Thiago Alves

I honestly think Khabib should've gotten the title fight vs Alvarez.. and if it did happen, I would've put my money on khabib.. But Conor is Dana's golden child, so he gets what he wants..

If conor wins, which belt do you think he'll vacate?? I think he'll vacate the 155 belt, 'cause he don't want nothing to do with that division! If he wins, and keeps the 155 belt, most likely his first title defense will be vs khabib.. and I think Khabib will maul him! I could also see Nate dropping down to 155, and having the third fight happen in the lightweight division. Dana has said that the trilogy probably wouldn't happen, but he's been known to lie through his teeth! But FACK do I want to see that third fight so facking badly! There were 2 times I lost my mind watching the ufc, one was when Weidmen ko'd Silva, and the other was when Nate choked out conor at 196!

I really don't like Conor, and I'd love to see him lose! And imagine how cocky he'll be if he won both belts.. ffs the world doesn't need that! With that being said, I'd put my money on conor in this fight.. Conor is a precise striker and Eddie is wild and throws a fury of inaccurate punches.. I think conor will get a clean counterpunch after one of Eddie's barage of inaccurate punches and Eddie will be knocked the fuck out! I'm hoping this doesn't happen, but my fight logic is leaning towards that scenario happening.. If Eddie wants a chance in this fight, he has to lean on his wrestling skills to win. And he has to be more precise with his punches! He can't just go in there and throw a bunch of punches that are all over the place, Conor will pick him apart if he does that..

We're in agreement with most of our picks.

I am rooting for my countryman but I'm expecting Alvarez to win. However, I've only been correct once when predicting he will lose. I was quite confident that RDA would have defeated him, had their fight taken place.

Speaking of which, I'm quite looking forward to the RDA fight tonight.
 
^ I wasn't thinking when I posted that, I actually wanted to take Eddie.. He's a beast, and Conor's in trouble! Yeah the Kennedy fight is the only difference in our picks.
