Television Ash v Evil Dead

None of my friends have seen this series but the first episode of season 2 is currently out. I enjoyed season one, it has quite a unique an original feel to it. Horror comedy in a series - and a certain amount of cheesyness that actually ends up adding more flavour to the show.

Am I the only one who enjoys this series ?

Was it anything like the Evil Dead trilogy?

I always felt that without the clay-mation, it would lose it's absurdity and no longer be enjoyable.

It's so stupid that it's kind of funny. Overall, I like it.

ash vs evil dead is the official continuation of the Evil Dead series, the comedy/horror franchise that made bruce campbell famous. at first they didnt have the rights to acknowledge Army of Darkness so they had to leave that whole part out of the show's story, but iirc thats not an issue anymore.

season 3 starts next month, feb 25. it'll be interesting to find out whats going on at the end of season 2, whether the timeline really was altered that much or if its some kind of dream/alt reality/whatever.
