I've been noticing a trend as of late, which by the title of this tread makes little sense to me.I wasnt expecting this.Does it seem odd to any of you that a man happens to be all three of these things? This isn't my attempt at criticizing his sexuality,or religious beliefs.Personally I belive it's Milo's attempt at cashing in on my generation, but I don't particularly consider this man to be the intulectual of the century.

One thing I found particularly stupid was "blacks are blacks own worst enemy, and white are whites own worst enemy" I disagree, the town I live in is surrounded by ghettos, and in these ghettos they're primarily black populated personally this seems to be more reliant on gentrification.Considering on my street alone the city I lived on has over the course of the last ten years dropped millions of dollars, illegally chopped down a forest and build shoping strip after shopping strip,on top of that they've build three developments thaf only the upper class can pay for on about a 3/4 mile road.

The argument is usually that they are gay, but that other conservative issues matter way more to them than the left wing gay lobby. It's more accurate to say there are a lot of openly gay conservative people, and the GOP is the only party representative of their political lean. So it's not all that cognitively dissonant, otherwise it would be like saying if you're gay you have to be a Democrat.

Personally, I wouldn't vote based on gay issues, *but* I wouldn't be able to support a party that has such a track record of hating gay people. When someone like Trump and his VP get into power, they could start purging the party of homosexuals for all we know. His VP has a history of very anti-gay policy proposals. Not to be all Godwin, but it would be like a Jew voting for Hitler because he agrees with a lot of Hitler's policies, even though Hitler openly called Jews an economic problem.

I personally prefer direct action as I'm an anacrist,so I'm far removed from major political discourse.I feel inclined to argee,I don't understand the appeal of the gop, myself being a queer I don't favor the demecrates much more but I feel in this election Trump

Sorry, about thay my phone has been quite laggy, what I belive I was getting at is that Trump is quite the contradiction.I do wonder if he's playing devils advocate,an optimistic part of me is begging that this isn't the best America has to offer.Id say sanders was far more credible, but I'm far to skeptical to advocate anyone in a 'guns ho manor'.My money's on Clinton taking the office, she's runing an arugbably successful mud campaign,Trumps campaign has shocked me,I recall saying "this fuckwhit won't make it a month."

Sanders seemed nice and all, but his socialist ideas, like his tax "reform" plans and all that seemed like it would kill America's working class, not to mention make it incredibly easy for people to abuse welfare programs, anymore of which would stress the USA out and make any honest man go extinct.

Hillary scares me too, I can just smell the debt climbing.

I really don't like Donald Trump, but I almost support him. Even though he's arrogant, talks without thinking, contradicting of his previous behavior, a biggot, and overall critically unaware of the state of Islam and other religious extremist groups.

But his trade reform and tax reform seem "okay", except for the corporate cuts. But I get he wants monopolies in the trade are to stay large so we can turn the import export around on China, cut spending. He's a business man.

But he's also a derranged lunatic giant orange baby who cheats whenever possible.

I'm actually a Minarchist/Anarcho Capitalist. I kinda flip flop between those two parts of the libertarian quadrant.

I hope I don't sound terribly uneducated with economics or politics. The fact of the matter is I am uneducated, this is my uninfluenced opinion. My step father is a heavy handed republican, while my mother is a conservative democrat.

You can't be gay and Christian. Well you can but you can't engage in gay sex, kissing etc. Instead you should get on your knees and pray to stop being gay.

Well he's not a socialist, sorry to revive a dead thread but hello. He's a liberal, well a social- Democrat to be exact. Socialism simply inlays worker control over the means of production. To sum it up he and his supporters wanted a bigger piece of the pie, my corrispondats want the whole bakery.

Now I'd highly suggest you check up mutualism. Also no need to worry here, I'm rather nice when on junk, don't care much for the ancap position frankly it doesn't seem to work well with anarchism. If you're an individualist and happen to be found of Nietzsche, mutualism would be yer ticket into the left.

My biggest conern with ancaps is they seem to advocate neo-fedualism from my experience. I'm an anarchist, so I'd like to abolish the state but I've got a simply method to do so. Take out capatlism first. And then private property could fall into the working classes hands and the state would just cease to exist. I advocate for syndicalism, mutualism, and agorisimg all at the same time, which isn't as common or complex as it might sound.

I'd highly suggest you question your ideas, and beliefs, take then chance. Read 'what is property', 'mutual aid', and while we're at it Karl Marxs critiques of capatlism. He and I actually like the way it can be productive but utimatley we agree that it's not sustainable, and unlike communism, socialism, and anarchism it can't be implemented in a horizontal fashion, only virtually. In other words it's an inherently exploaitve system, and is hierarchy by design.

Has it been nearly half a year already...?

Where does time go.

Dr. Junkie what authority do anarchists use to enforce the law against capitalism?

For example, if I am bartering oranges on the corner, am I arrested and sent to anarchist prison? Or is violence used to enforce anarchist rule?

It's the same for women once you get equality you forget about everything else and feed into the capitalist "screw you, I got mine"

Politics is like sexuality, it's impossible to label people using just two ideals. Democrats/left vs republican/right is not different than gay/straight.

I've yet to vote for anyone who truly incapulates all my original ideals just as every one of my sexual kinks make it impossible to pigeonhole my gender indentification

^ that sums up my feelings about it too very nicely.

I was on friendly terms with a very vocal republican guy who was openly gay and went to church (Christian) though he didn't give me much of a spiritual vibe. Everyone would poke at the contradictory nature of his beliefs but he didn't see it that way and seemed to thrive on the confrontation and debate of it all.

Whatever dude, this doesn't concern you and you will burn out trying to ontologically figure this one out.

I don't find the combination strange at all. Most of us live with highly contradictory beliefs that are far less reconcilable than those. If confronted by the evidence, people usually prefer the stress of cognitive dissonance to the stress of facing these contradictions and resolving them.
Also, people choose party affiliation based on things other than sexuality, such as economic or foreign policy.

I'm not surprised at all about gay republicans, but gay christians will always somewhat baffle me.(the religion condemns homosexual behavior, plain and simple, no matter what mental gymnastics you use.)Then again it amazes me in general that people actually believe in christianity(or islam, judaism, etc.), but I just have to remind myself that alot of humans tend to not think logically when it comes to this because of their fear of what happens after death, what is the meaning of it all, etc. Especially when beliefs are forced upon them at a young age, it makes it alot less likely that they will question that belief, even when all evidence seems to contradict it, and no evidence whatsoever supports it.
