dosing out of an eye dropper

So I just received 50mf of clonazloam in 5ml in an eye dropper bottle. It came with a syringe looking thing where you can suck liquid in and it has marks of .1ml to 1ml. I've tried to put the end of the dropper and syringe together and squeeze it into the syringe, but it leaks and barely works. What would be the best way to get the liquid out of the dropper, because you can't put any extra liquid back in.
This is my first thread/post, so please be easy on me.

Maybe post a pic of this liquid syringe to give us a better idea of what we're dealing with. I'm confused on multiple fronts with this post, but hey maybe it's just me being a dumbass?

the syringe isn't meant to fit onto the dropper bottle, but you should be able to pull the top off the dropper bottle and get access to all the liquid inside & just suck it up that way?

failing that just squirt drops into a spoon first

^ This seems to be the most practical method one could use. Or you can pour it into a cup that has a lid.
Once onto the spoon, or into the cup, you can suck it into the sryinge to measure your dose.
