"Korean Musicians" - Ai No Corrida - lack of proper nomenclature is not simply my own ignorance, apparently the big (very big) band involved were a load of Korean session musicians put together especially for a one-off Korean TV show. They do a really rather excellent job of covering the Quincy Jones original. As a side note, Ai no korîda is one of the finest films ever made. FACT!

Massive Attack (Feat. Daddy Gee & Carlton) - Any Love (12" version) - Missed this one completely. Rather glad to have found it too.

When i first heard this band i was amazed to discover that it was not Marina and the Diamonds. The singers sound quite similar imo. I'd have lost a lot of money if anyone had been williing to bet against me that it was not Marina and the diamonds.:\

Cheers, i will check those out soon, probably during my next G session. I also need to check out that link Pink Pigeon posted for me. Plus there are 2 mini 'festivals' coming up soon in Manchester; Tin Whistle, and Gigantic, and I need to get listening to a lot of new stuff (at least to me) before I decide which of the featuring artists i like most and decide which of the events to go to. Gonna charge my headphones now infact cos i never know when the urge will strike, and its fucking annoying as hell when the headphones run out of juice 20 minutes into a session. :\

Kinda doubt you'll become an overnight superfan of the genre but the titles at least are tather fitting for a man in your line of work...

Hehe. Just one of those fortuitous synchronicities where the tunes I was posting anyway happened to have some vague connection to the person I was quoting. "Industrial" is spot-on really - far more so than breakcore which is what it would probably be classed as by default. Speaking of which...

Brian Fallon is an absolute genius songwriter, guitarist, lyricist, and tunesmith. He also looks hard as fuck. I saw them In Academy 1, and their 59 sound album is sooo good it's tragic.
