MAPS Global Psychedelic Dinners fund raising & more...
What an awesome organization MAPS is, now to celebrate 30 years, with fund raising dinners around the globe: April 17, 2016. The breakthrough research, now reaching level 3 at some facilities, is the brainchild & plain hard work of Rick Doblin PhD & is now receiving some funding from the Veterans Administration, a sign of the success they've obtained. Rick's work & that of the dedicated staff work in researching cures for PTSD, depression, to the "Zendo Project" for psychedelic harm reduction, & is a tribute to the value & values of the psychedelic movement.

This work includes creating medicines that are "in the public domain" beyond the reach of big pharma. The goal is not just treatments, but cures. MDMA & cannabis research for PTSD has been underway (also LSD, Psilocybin) since 2014 at facilities like John Hopkins, where the DEA just completed it's inspection of their cannabis research areas & gave it a pass! The goal is to have MDMA legal for therapy by 2021.

Funding is a big challenge for MAPS as there's less chance for profit for corporations, or a it's considered as a "liability" factor, as seen at this time, so we are all being asked to help raise funds for continued research. Below are some links for ways you can assist this great work.

Help set up your own funding dinner, here's more info at these links:http://psychedelicdinners.org/

Mm, what I'm thinking is how pure their mdma must be! I do get short emails elaborating on the process (eg. they'll be in phase 3 soon), but this is much more comprehensive. I'll have to take a look at this on Thursday night.

Thank you. :)
