Feel it settle you,
the distant sounds.
Far away,
so safe to drown.

Subtle winds carrying away the sweat.
Loosen the tension,
forget all regrets.

Silence clouds the temporary,
and no rain in sight.
Absolute completeness,
blissful delight.

Rippled not by confusion,
rippled by a new spectrum of light.

An introduction,
still not ready for a bow,
you're so safe to drown.

I wrote this about 6 years ago.

I'm staying on a very lazy and beautiful little river in the Northwest and this poem captures the tranquility beautifully.

Thanks everybody <3

@herbavore, I wrote this while sitting at a lake, so i can see why you feel that way :-D

I feel my God speaking to me through your words. You, my friend, are a conduit of the Ethereal and Eternal Transcendent Creator. Thanks for sharing. Truly. :)
