Porn or No Porn?

My husband watches A LOT of porn and I always wondered if it was a reflection on me or how he felt about our relationship. I also worry sometimes that it affects our sex life... But maybe it's just what men do?

What men do is masturbating. Sex can't replace masturbation, at least not completely. It's a fact that porn makes masturbation more pleasurefull so if he uses porn to masturbate it's completely normal. This doesn't mean he doesn't love you or your relationship has a problem.
Of course I can't talk for all men. I can't be sure on what you mean by "A LOT of porn", nor how important porn is for him. All I can say is that masturbation is too common and it goes hand in hand with porn.
Have you ever asked him?

Thanks Bomber. I know you can't speak for all men but you're not the first to tell me that either. I can just be insecure at time...

When ever we have spoken about it, he has always said it is absolutely no reflection on me... I know I should just believe that but, as I said... I'm the insecure kind. It's a long story. It's actually why I joined this forum. I need to start a thread to explain....

Degrading porn is going to keep being made whether your watching it or not. Your decision not to support it affects you alone. But if it makes you feel better then don't watch it
 
I view the use of porn as a tool for improving masturbation. While I can masturbate using my imagination, porn adds extra stimulus to the process usually resulting in more powerful orgasms and ejaculations. Personally, I only care for porn that is realistic and more on the side of amateurs engaging in sexual play.

I think the problem is when we start liking porno more than the real thing. Like watching porno after having sex, for instance. That's an issue that happens with a lot of people.
