What meds are you RX'd?

240 milligrams oxycodone 19 2 milligram xanax.

Whoa...19 2mg Xanax bars? along with a HUGE amount of oxycodone? Holy shit.

I don't see ANY doctor in the world would RX those to meds in those insanely high doses. That's 570 2mg Xanax bars a month, and idk how your oxy comes in, im guessing its going to be the Roxy 30s, because if they were percs your livers would explode from all that apap, and that's 8 30mg Roxys a day, that's 240 30mg Roxys.

So, do you REALLY get FIVE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY 2mg Xanax bars, AND 240 30mg Roxys, a month?

I'm sorry, but I don't believe that

I'll play...

1) Lorazepam...not sure of the size but they are itty bitty, so maybe .5s? I'm not on them daily, had them prescribed as-needed for the occasional panic attack. Zombie crap, not a fan, but it does its job when I'm hyperventilating over something dumb.

2) Fioricet (Butalbital/Acet/Caffeine - 50/325/40mg) as-needed, for migraines. Lovely for a good nap, even with the caffeine. Even nicer with a few drinks buuuut that's probably not the smartest.

3) Butorphanol (used to be named Stadol) - nasal spray for severe migraines, as-needed. Apparently women tend to react better to it than men for some reason. All I know is that in 5 minutes or less, you could chop my finger off and I probably wouldn't feel anything. I've had oxycodone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone...none of them even touch the amazing euphoria and painkilling properties of this.

I really try not to use it unless I need it though, because some of my migraines get so bad I seriously consider suicide just to make them stop, so I can't afford to build up a tolerance. It would be so easy to abuse otherwise but that fear of not being able to control the intense pain for 7+ hrs keeps me in line.

4) Maxalt - a thoroughly useless vasoconstrictor for migraines. Makes me feel like I'm having a panic attack and like my jaw is wired shut, so I almost never use it.

Haha, exactly like me!

Out of all the meds I have RX'd, Lexapro is the only 1 I don't use. They're the same exact strength (10mg) and quanity (30) like yours, haha what a coincidence!

I mean, for me, I have better drugs to take for depression and anxiety, Klonopin and Hydroxyzine, im saving the Lexapro after I taper off klonopin.

I'm nervous to take the Lexapro, I'm not big on depressants. But I will start them tomorrow I guess, I hope they don't have odd side affects :/

gr33n3y3s

let me know how they are, keep us updated please :)

I also have them RX and would like someone elses opinion how they work..are yours also the 10mgs?

fiiiinally convinced my doctor that my anxiety is bad enough for a benzo, so I just got 30 .5mg clonazepam, but I'm going to try to get 1mg a day next month.

I also take celexa (citalopram) for depression.

did you like beg your doctor for benzos?

Going to a doctors office trying to score, shouldn't go to the doctors office period. (I'm not saying your anxiety isn't bad enough for benzos)

But for me, I always go with what the doctor tells me, if im given a med, for a certain reason, and it doesn't work well for that certain reason, than you can go back to him and tell him this med isn't working,

From experience, that's whats works best for me to get good meds.

Right now I have 1mg Clonazepam 240 every month and a half.
Its for getting off other benzos though, (Valium and Xanax)

Nahh dude I completely agree. In the long run benzos aren't really going to solve every problem which is why I'm seeing a counselor as well. It just took a while of switching from med to med to get some anxiety relief.

I've been in a rut for 3 years of depression and social anxiety. I got prescribed celexa (SSRI) for depression, and was sent on my way. I came back for the 6 week check up and told him my anxiety has increased, so he recommended a non-benzo anxiolytic. I knew I needed a long-acting benzo for my anxiety and I told him that I was basically at my breaking point (I was, I had 3 panic attacks the day before) and that my friend takes klonopin for her anxiety. We went through the risks and alternative medications but ultimately decided to try klonopin as it fit my daily schedule.

Scheduled drugs aren't as easy to RX now a days as you think...that's why most if not all hospitals/doctors have records for drug seekers and save their name, so whenever they come in they're more supervised and less likely to be seen by nurses and doctors before other patients.

If you're labeled a drug seeker anywhere, I would never go to that place again. (I never had this problem)

I see it like this, you get what you NEED.
If addicted to illegal drugs, if its opiates, long term, methadone maintenance is your best bet to get back on the normal track of your life.
I was on hydrocodone, oxycodone, and heroin for over 6 years. Now the last 2+ years ive been on 80mg methadone since.

The last 7 months have been very rough for me, so I started to use benzos to feel better. I used valium (80-120mg daily) or Xanax (6-10mg) daily.
I'm currently tapering both using clonazepam and hydroxyzine. Its working wonders so far. I love klonopin.

I know that, clearly it took me a while to get benzos. I'm not a naive drug-seeker, I've never doctor shopped, I've been seeing the same physician since I was 6.

Yeah, another thing, if your doctor/physician isn't helping you the way you want, switch doctors then.
I had to switch 3 times to find the right one, and this was within just 1 year.
I finally found a GREAT doctor who REALLY cares about me and helps me to the max.

After my benzo taper (few months) my doctor is going to help me taper down my methadone also, this doctor has NOTHING to do with methadone, and yet she's still willing to help.
At my methadone clinic, its the same, the doctor there is also very awesome. I had to switch one time from a different methadone clinic due to problems with the doctor, at the methadone clinic I was in before im in today the doctor would try to keep me there forever, he never asked how I was doing, or anything.

My current methadone doctor is amazing, he deeply cares for ME, everytime I meet him, he helps me tremendously with w.e I need help with, and he always asks "are you ready to taper down yet, buddy?"...I LOVE THAT. It shows that he cares and it means a lot to me.

Try doing what I did man, and I guarantee you'll find a doctor that will help you with your NEEDS.
If I can do it, anyone can man.

Hope that helps,

-Methacodone

Viibrid, Saphris, Lamictal, Nexium, Verapamil (migrane prophylaxis), Soma, Fiorcet (PRN), Ambien (PRN) and Klonapin (PRN). I also take a multivitamin, a strong B Complex and Folic Acid ( to help with depression and nutritional value).
I'm finally down from a shit ton of medications ( even though it still seems like a lot - you should have seen the list before!)
I have to say that I was on 25 Mg of Valium a day and the withdrawal was horrendous - opiods are cake compared to benzo withdrawal!

6 months later, things changed. I successfully tapered off Xanax and valium with klonopin, but the benzos snatched me back! ah! oh well, shit happens, I just gotta be REALY ready to taper off, I obviously wasn't last time as I started using again.
I just don't know what it is. what i'll do is pray every night and hope for the best. :)

FINALLY went to a specialist (psychiatrist) for my panic disorder and GAD, and got a combo that actually works! Effexor being the greatest (though I was hell bent against any antidepressants for years bc of the wd's). After 2 weeks of horrible side effects I would have quit taking them, but he made me continue and even increased the dosage. Gave prozasin to combat the nightmares. And a benzo for breakthroughs. It's been months now, and the effexor has been the only drug that has given me a quality of life back!!! I know, sounds boring, cuz would't all benzos be great. But if it weren't for this anxiety stuff, I'd have never gotten myself addicted to benzos in the first place. Still love a good benzo here and again, but no one's taking my Effexor away.

Temazepam 30mg * 30
Gabapentin 600mg * 60
Lexapro 20mg * 30
Adderall 30mg * 30 + 20mg ir *30
Suboxone 4mg * 60

I get 300mg 30/10 diazepam monthly but I never use them all. Most nights just take 5mg unless really anxious, now that I've stopped drinking I am taking a little more...

Crazy, but this list your about to read is oh so true. I suffer from about every kind of chronic pain minus cancer in the back and neck.....large spinal hemangeioma at l4-l5 vertebrae(non-operable), sciatica, scoliosis, degenerated discs, desiccated discs, whiplash (3 serious accidents over 10 year period) soft tissue damage, tension headaches, muscle spasms, chronic migraine headaches, High blood pressure, depression, acid reflex disorder..........you get the point. A Lot of you folks out there will read this list and wish you had these scripts......or would want to be my freind........trust me its not worth it. I no longer enjoy the narcotics and quite frankly Im stuck with them. 2 years ago when my wife and I decided to have a child, I was still working as a brick mason and making it thru each day on considerably less pain pain medication. At that point it was still extremely fun to pop a couple extras and pretend I was normal and make some rich person the best masonry they could imagine. Then, shortly after Lyric, my daughter was born..........my health took an extreme dip in frequency of pain, severity of pain, frequency of tension and migraine headaches.......leading to me getting on disabiltiy.........well state disability. Im still fighting the feds.......

Got Gabapentin for anxiety a couple weeks ago. Got 1200mg. My doctor wants to do a concentration test to see if I have add/adhd witch of course I'll "fail". I'll Probally get an herbal stim first then something shitty like concerta. Then MIGHT FINALLY get some amphetamines
