I take daily opiates , around 70-80 mg of Percocet . I have always had anxiety / panic attacks / OCD . Since my daily use of opiates a year ago, my anxiety has skyrocketed!!! Anyone else experienced this? I also afraid of losing my touch with reality. I am 35 male, will be 36 in a few weeks, what's the chance of schizophrenia or psychotic illness at this age beginning ?

Opiate anxiety

Ive been an addict for many many years, mostly opiates, methadone and now H mostly, but I know my anxiety levels depend on how much money I have, and how much dope I have at a given time, if I know I have a good amount of dope, Im pretty relaxed, but if Im out or no money, my anxiety goes thru the roof. Its like I dread trying to live my life and being able to function with no drug at all. Ive tried to get script for Xanax, but thanks to new drug laws, its VERY tough to get a script for this drug!!! Which used to be handed out fairly regularly. I FUCKING HATE our state and Fed Govt for trying to come between my doctor and I...why do they think they know better? LOL
Nearly ALL doctors, in nearly every state in the US, is SOOOO fucking scared of being sued, or loosing their license, just because they gave someone more of a certain drug..?? What gives the Govt the right to do this in the first place? I may be wrong but isnt a persons meds between them and their doctor..why should the DEA even have access to this info...Why isnt HIPPA protecting this info?
IMO, it all boils down to big pharma companies wanting EVERYONE to buy their meds and have NO access to anything else, even if it helps them more...HOW FUCKING DARE THEM???!!! LOL
Of course, they are too stupid to realize, if they continue to make it nearly impossible to get ANY narcotic painkillers, even 5mg vics!!?? CMON, that is just ridiculous IMO, they will just push everyone to Heroin or other street drugs...did they really think if they create all these new laws with prescription pain pills, everyone would just quit using?? LOL They probably did think this though!! HA HA HA All they did was create an absolutely HUGE demand for heroin...thats exactly why almost every US city has a heroin 'epidemic' now!

In Europe, for example, if I have a certain prescription when I buy the medication, they register the doctor´s and patient´s info.
That means you cannot have more than you 'should' because both pharmacies and doctors will know what you have been taken.
In short: it´s becoming more and more difficult to get medications from pharmacies nowadays.
So people stay off pharmacies and get it else where in the streets.
