I started this thread to see if anyone had ever had or heard of a similar experience. So basically a friend of a friend who well call john was hanging at a buddys house around 3 weeks ago when he stumbled across his buddys bottle of liquid roxicett in his basement. John had never used opiates besides drinking a bottle of coedine months before. John drank 35 ml (equal to 35 mg of oxycodone) of the liquid in around an hour and a half and had no ill effects whatsoever. The next morning when he woke up he was unable to blink his left eye, move his eyebbrow or forehead, or use the left side of his mouth. After 3 days of worsening symptoms including headaches, toothaches and blurred vision John went to the hospital and was diagnosed with bells palsy caused by mild lyme disease. He was put on doxycycline and prednisone for 3 weeks and has stopped taking them after 2 weeks since his symptoms are nearly gone. Johns friend who he drank the roxicett with had 25 ml and felt nauseaus but had no symptoms the next day. Is it possible the percs could have triggered Johns lyme symptoms?
