I'm sorry zephyr I feel the same way you are not alone. I have quite given up on sobriety fully but I would at least like to get a little self-control so I can live my life in a healthy way while still being able to indulge from time to time in moderation the things I consider an important part of my spiritual life as well as the narcotics when I need them for anxiety. Whether this is possible for someone like me I really cannot say at this point in time...
