Does anyone doubt my love for Neil?
With concert tickets costing up to over $1,000 depending on where and when, he has to have something people want.
I think that is his grand presentation. Who doesn't like to hear the first few notes of America? You don't get much more patriotic.
And how many Jewish artists do Christmas albums. And Holly Holy? My god. That should be on the spriitual song thread. Neil is a showman.

I am having the doldrums for reasons I won't delve into...so I put this on and I am instantly brightened (my last bit of keef/keif how the fuck so you spell it..I was saving, god knows when I will get more...now on board is also helping)
Look at the people in the orchestra. They seem so pleased playing with Mike Patton and damn I would be too. I am just watching and grinning ear to ear

 
As I watch, I don't know if I enjoy his rendition of Urlo Negro here. He's a fabulous screamer, and seems to be experimenting with Italian pop screamo...I liked his version on the album. Perhaps I am just not willing to take the leap, unsure this
 
So I had to decide on what would be a meaningful and memorable band for my kids to see for their first show. Imagine Dragons seem like pretty decent people and the music is actually inspiring and positive. I had attempted Dropbox Murphys but it was an over 21 show and didn't seem a great idea for a 10 year old. The boy plays drums and I think he'll enjoy the ensembles.

Dad has been in the hospital off and on for over a year and needs a liver. Seems to be getting stable so I am really hoping it's all 4 of us ☺️

What do you do when you hate country but that's what people want to hear?

Well the song certainly has a good message^ Sweet

So I have lived in a very rural area my entire life. Country music is very popular here of course.
I have finally accepted that I will probably live here the rest of my life.
Been embracing the local "nightlife" which is basically a few small bars, but hey it beats getting a DUI. I also enjoy getting to know people and seeing familiar faces.
What I don't like is country and since there is usually a DJ who goes by our requests, I was considering what to ask for on a night where people seem to want that country.
Bring in Southern Gothic. Some would say it's Southern Rock..whatever, I just know I stumbled on it and it seems to be going over well.

The rural politic brings its ennui- however the urban brings it's violent death - ya know. Love youre presence. Far away hills are always higher - fuck that jazz.

Never ideal but you got to make the beauty bloom. YOu are lovely - you can.
