Had a post and lost it-this is a good way to keep me busy and out of trouble

Anyway.
This will not be like Andrew Bird. I do own a Squirrel Nut Zipper Album and we do dance around a bit to it now and again. Good musician. I just get caught up in the hard stuff. Thankfully music. I will have to make it a point to find the other projects. I wonder if any of it is on Pandora.

modern country, but the old stuff is great.

But Nursey I will give you the time of day/night here. You may just not have understood that "Do Make Say Think" is the name of a band not just a random thread title. And an elite few of us NEMD regulars regard Do Make Say Think in the highest regard tbh.
They got their name from when they went to teach young school children about musical instruments and those words were up on the chalk board and they kind of just used that from there on out.

Just think of it this way, here you get your own threads that won't get deleted and even your posts in other threads get split off to become their own threads. :)
 
Ah I see. Well this thread can just go into a blog for me then. I don't really think it needs to be a thread. Up to you. I dunno. I have tons of opinions on music as does everyone. Everyone's a critic.

Oh, sorry, I didn't realize he was temp banned. That has nothing to do with NEMD lol.. I gave him that thread to shit post away in and I believe your threads would consist of more substance than his. You would not be getting banned for posting any amount of shit here. I like you Nursey, please understand this. Like, I've lived in PA for a while, that makes us practically FAM status. Deal with it. You aint gettin' banned because of NEMD posts, LOL.

I put up some news I stumbled upon. I think Foolsgold will like it. People love that damn Festival. I bet there are some shenanigans there. I don't care what they say.
 
I put this in Foolsgold thread, basically as a joke. But this is a big deal in my area. I have never been to it, but it seems to be getting quite huge. Everyone turns into a huge christian for a weekend, then they go back to being boozing hillbilies. It is the biggest case of hypocritical behavior I have ever seen. I can't speak for the people who come from out of town, but I can for the people I know who go....Well some of them. For others I guess they are just having a good time. You decide. I am not about to paint my car with "honk for Jesus" anytime soon though. I used to work at a nursing home in 2003, and everyone on the evening shift was into going to see them. Now I work for a company that goes into nursing homes as part of its domain, and I go into this same place and the evening staff all now work days, 10years later. We are chatting it up and they are like "yeah man, we are going to see Dave Mathews. We go all the time". My husband says they have a cult following.
I had no idea.
The band is okay, I have a couple of their CD's, and I guess I have a PHISH cd somewhere, but I don't know where. If that is an answer.
