In September of 1997 I experienced something that als\most cannot be explained in words alone. I went to go see the Cure in concert on their Wild Mood Swings tour. The stage setup was as follows: Right in the middle of the stage there was a giant section of a curvy roller coaster track. Behind where the played across the entire area it looked as if they draped a huge piece of thin silk material. Now, they combined wind, lights, and computer graphics and the end result was something absolutely mystifying. If you WEREN'T tripping then it made you feel like you were (kind of like watching the movie "The Doors" but WAYYYYY more intense).
I would LOVE to hear if anyone else saw the Cure during that particular tour.
