Basic Drug Discussion is looking to increase the numbers of our awesome moderating team! More complete coverage is likely to make things much easier in a forum this large.

Even if you've applied in that past, please don't feel discouraged. The more applicants we get that happier we are! :D

If you are interested in the position, please send your application via PM only to the following by noon EST February 25th 2013:
NeighborhoodThreat | Swimmingdancer | synthetix | bronson | nAON

Please include the following in your application:

  • Where you live (can be as general as what time zone you're in)
  • How old are you?
  • What is your DOC (Drug of Choice)?
  • What is your occupation (again, can be general)?
  • What do you think would make you a good BDD moderator and bL staff member in general?
  • Any further experience you have (related to drugs or not) that you feel should be included...
  • How much time per day do you have available to dedicate to moderating and posting?

This thread is NOT for nominating people for BDD moderator and is not a social thread. If you feel somebody should apply, shoot them a PM directly. Do NOT post your applications here. PM them to all of the moderators on staff listed above. This is the place for general questions regarding the position. Social and off-topic chatter will be removed.
 
Would love to apply again but I was told I haven't been here long enough and I doubt one more month will change that. :p Good luck to anyone applying.
 
So the application needs to go to ALL of the moderators, or just one of our choosing ? Just need that clarified. I'll be applying, anything to help the community =D
 
All of them I think. At least that's what I remember happening last time?
 
Yes, send your application to all of the mods. Anyone who applied last time is definitely welcome to apply again by the way.

I just wanted to reiterate that anyone who has applied in the past is welcome to re-apply. We start fresh every time we look for a new mod. We don't hold it against anyone if they have applied before and weren't chosen at that time, if anything it affirms your interest. Just explaining in case anyone thought they would automatically be considered due to having applied before, or thought that there was no point in applying if they were not chosen in the past (I know a couple people had this concern). Also we may not even be aware that someone applied if it was before the current mods were mods. Thanks :)

And thanks to everyone who has applied so far and to everyone who participates in BDD :)
 
You guys forgot to mention that mods get full access to the staff nudie thread (which is the only reason anyone ever applies)

Bump. By the way, Swimmingdancer said I could use my previous application (there isn't more to add) if I did want to try again. Do I just need to let the other moderators be aware of it (by posting in this thread) or should I just send it again to all of the mods?
