That's right BASS JAM is back and once again we get to bring you that hot fiyah for FREE. No cover on this one in celebration of THE WERKS two day NYE run at the Newport.
We are proud to present another edition of Bass Jam, our pairing of jam / jamtronica with bass music / edm. Once again we will be including full event production including lights, lasers, sound, decorations, artists and vendors. Expect to be transported to a different world. It’s like a festival in the club. This event is art centric and will feature one of a kind live painting, poi, hooping and sculpture. Djs will play in between the bands all night covering genres including future trap, electro, dubstep, glitch, moombah, chillwave and laser bass.
All Star talent for the night will include:
THE WERKS SUPERJAM
In this rare, perhaps one time only occurrence, members of THE WERKS will be jamming impromptu with some of there favorite musicians. This one of kind performance will feature Rob Chafin and company playing freestyle and perhaps soloing on drums and guitar. This will undoubtedly be a great warm up for the WERKS NYE shows.

JAHMAN BRAHMAN-
Jahman Brahman is a five-member collaboration originating from Columbus, Ohio in 2003, and currently residing in the mountains of Asheville, NC. The musical intuition of each member overcomes the restrictions of any particular genre as they pioneer the musical trail with a sound completely their own. The name Jahman Brahman emerged from each member’s goal to achieve the ultimate state of musical cohesion; each instrument connected to one another to create a piece of music from the heart of one. They’ve described their particular style as shred ‘n’ flow, a dynamic sound with a wide breath of influence, but a focus on rich, fluid, progressions of energy.

Broccoli Samurai broke ground as the brainchild of Cleveland natives Ryan “Bruce” Hodson and Chris Walker. In December 2009, bassist Steve Fade joined them, and in 2010 they set out their journey to make a footprint in the electronic jam scene. For nearly 2 years, the psychedelic improvisation of progressive electronica with a heavy drum and bass groove have thrilled audiences across the Midwest. Their positive vibe, energetic stage presence, and undeniable talent have earned them praise among their peers. “Broccoli Samurai inject much-needed playfulness and humanity into the chill out genre.
