Im a Sexworker In Australia.

Im new to the Industry and im young and i might be naive but im definitely not stupid.
In the four months i've worked there i have discovered a completely fucked up environment that really opened my eyes.

One person has opened up to me told me she knows she is the only one fucking with her head. But continues to blame
use people, and lie.... And it's fucked up because she is so good at it... she had everyone close to her isolated from each other intentionally
start talking and realise how sick she was.The only thing she got out of this was drugs and support when things went wrong from me.
She pushed me away when she made a small mistake... it was easier to blame me than just accepting it i suppose.
Eventually another person i had met a few times that associated with bumped into each other and had a huge talk.
It really helped open my eyes to what was going on!! i knew she had problems but not to the extent that she would sabotage herself in the most stupid ways.
she does it to everyone around her. A major part of all this bull shit is drugs!!!

A different lady i met through helping through a G-hole at work. that turned into me supporting her through a herendous breakup.
To living with her. At first she was really nice. she let me buy drugs off her if i didnt have the money i cold pay her back.
After a couple months i looked in the mirror and saw a skinny girl i didnt know. She eventually had a horrible mood change told me to move out.
I did as she asked, she was surprised i didnt try disagree there's no point arguing with someone in that state. I went back to my old house.
And went cold turkey off the drugs.. i impressed myself even.
I got back to work and i think alot of people realised i can care about myself as well others.
And one girl who seemed to be blamed for everything and constantly lied about pointed out that they were just using me.
and everything clicked.
i appreciated her pointing that out to me, she understood because she saw what was going and didnt take it at all.

Im really bad at explaining things and i tried to make it simple to understand but man some twisted shit goes on in this world.
Now i have learnt..... it's fucked knowing people actually are "skilled" at using others.

So, are you quitting the trade? Don't let your view of people be too distorted by your experiences as an addict and sex worker. You've been exposed to two areas where fucked up head games and mental enslavement are rampant. This leads to a kill or be killed mentality and you could easily end up being the sadistic bitch you abhor. Anyway you seem fairly clear headed about the situation. Congratulations on the cold turkey. My advice would be to use this opportunity to escape. I know it's probably easier said than done and quick, easy money can be just as addicting as anything else. So you met some woman at a glory hole? Congrats on getting sober and off of the drugs, did you quit doing sex for pay as well?
 
It was hard for me to understand the myriad of travail in your post, but from what I gathered the your drug use, compiled w/ the drug use of others severely complicated matters in an already convoluted landscape. It sounds like you made a very sound move in extricating the drug use from your life. Hopefully it will make your career more manageable.

Congratulations on doing a CT withdrawal. Those are not easy, and you should be proud of yourself.

We don't have glory hole's in Australia. Sex work is legal in Australia which while is not perfect is far better situation for the women who wish to work in sex work compared to how things work for prostitutes in most major American cities.

I use the services of sex workers in melbourne! You sound like you are in your 20's, Caucasian and fairly attractive if you have been offered a job by a private agency. You must be out of my league to be honest, don't get me wrong i've been to most of the high class brothels around inner city Melbourne at one time or another but these days i stick to the cheaper end of the market because frankly the cheap and cheerful migrant Asian sex workers and older Australian sex workers are way more fun and have far less hang ups. I find a lot of the high class brothel girls in their early 20's are too clinical and cold in the service they provide. I'm not saying all young sex workers are duds as i have had a few good ones over years but the best and most affectionate and intimate sex workers with the most charm and right attitude were the women aged late 20's to early 40's that understood the concept of providing a warm and enjoyable sexual service for a paid punter. Nothing worst than a prima dona ice princess of a sex worker that goes through the motions and is a starfish without emotion to stay with.

If this certain "most prestigious brothel in Australia"" that you work at previously is in South Melbourne, rated six stars and priced as the most expensive in Melbourne i think i know which one you are talking about. i Won't name names as it's against Bluelight policy but i've heard from a few former workers if this high end brothel i am thinking of the, that this said brothel has a toxic culture of encouraging drug use among the sex workers as well as the management turning a blind eye to clients bringing drugs into the brothel. As well as a terrible culture of bitchiness, intimidation and workplace bullying between the co-workers and the management. It's remarkable the one of the most prestigious and expensive legal brothels in Melbourne would have such a bad reputation. I guess the owners are only concerned about making a quick buck. From some of my regular girls i see they have told me some brothels are well run but like all industries they're are some dodgy owners and management that will turn a blind eye to rampant drug use as long as the brothel is busy and room fees keep coming in. In my almost 20 years of going to legal brothels around Melbourne town i have seen the good the bad and ugly. IME the most professional sex workers don't need to use drugs to get through their shifts and with the migrant Asian international student sex workers they understand the large potential amount of income that can be earned if they keep a level head while giving a good service and earning a good reputation that in turn brings repeat business. From the Asian sex workers i have come to know over years of regularly bookings the Asian girls that they're are into earning money and are prepared to work from Morning to night for weeks on end to maximise earnings, . As for Aussie girls the flesh trade and drug use goes hand in hand. Well so i hear.

Sorry for bumping a thread that is almost 5 years old but i'm intrigued to know how the OP sexworker is going five years on from this thread, If you read this perhaps considering giving us all a update on your situation. Seeing as you joined bluelight in Oct 2012 but only have 23 post i's take it your more of a lurker who doesn't wish to post or you are off drugs and have no desire to discuss drug use on a internet forum.
 
If you are still interested in sex work but with less bullshit, maybe look for webcam work, or stripping or escort maybe. Hope you are ok. You seem to have a good head on your shoulders.
