Heres my theory on what its all about...Acceptance

You're 100% right. What's happening though is very simple.

  • Many people posting in this forum are extremely young.
  • Many are virgins or near virgins.
  • Since the mid-80s there has been a tremendous cultural counter-revolution in the US (and to a lesser extent in Europe) where anti-sex fundamentalist christians and anti-sex extremist feminists have allied to scare young people inappropriately about the real risks of sex, to attack any form of sex which seems immoral to them (like gay stuff for the christians and BDSM/porn for the anti-sex feminists). These people are all over the web - all over wikipedia - are busy organizing and trying to influence law and school curricula and everything else. They have had a huge amount of success as you can see from the amount of terror young people now have about sex as people have been having it for all of human history.


But yeah - those of us old enough to have had sex lives before porn was ubiquitous (before VHS people only saw porn in dirty movie theaters and peepshows and stag parties) know very well that everything you can see in porn is REAL SEX as REAL HORNY PEOPLE have had it for ALL OF HUMAN HISTORY. People who think real sex is nasty will be horrified by how people really have sex - people who love nasty and know its normal know that there is nothing new under the sun.

So missionary position with lights out and condoms/dental dams for some folks, and total freedom and fun and messiness for the rest of us......But it's ALWAYS been like that.....lol
 
I don't blame the porn industry, but if I were gonna, I would say yes people have been doing facials for eons, yet do the sexual proclivities and mores of different eras have more influence upon males today than the porn industry? You could argue facials have been around before the porn industry, but I would say, for our purposes, in our society, the porn industry teaches males the act of sex ends with a facial. Nature obviously teaches us different when we lose hold and erupt inside of our partner. That only strengthens my argument by detracting nature as an impetus for face-cumming.

If I were to conclude this argument for someone else I would state: Therefore, in light of this irrefutable and deliciously sultry evidence, the porn industry has engendered an unprecedented and historically colossal amount of facials in the modern day, of which sociologist, moralist, feminist, and theologian stand in perturbation.
