The C&C series (I even like the worst of them, the story line often sucks but the gameplay is just my cup of tea)

Skyrim (Oblivion was pretty cool too but Skyrim is just so fucking amazing)

List of my all time favorite video games arranged in alphabetical order for anybody who gives a shit. To sweeten it up, I decided to take it upon myself to include the hours I spent on each game to emphasize how sad my life is. Without further a-do, here's the list:

Arma 3 (1,275 hrs)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 1 & 2 (50-100 hours total)
Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 & 2 (about 1,000 hours on each game, based on the amount of school work I blew off in the 6th and 7th grade to play zombies with my friends)

i pretty much quit video games in 2006 and people who know me outside my brother knows i am really into RPGs, specifically the 3 RPGs series
i've only played like 3 different editions (all for gameboy advance) but my favorite is the fire emblem series even though they sort of completely ripped off shining force's battle system

2nd and 3rd favorites are a tie between suikoden(PSX/PS2) - i love how in each of their like 6 games you can recruit exactly 108 character's into your party with about 75% of them eligible for combat and shining force 1 and 2(sega genesis)

final fantasy tactics(PSX, gameboy color/advance) and vandal hearts(PSX) were worth playing from start to finish as well

i guess turn based strategies are for me

used to also be a huge fan of NCAA football games(way better game play than madden) until they became illegal to produce

and Gta games, vice city and 5 are my favorites
 
In its time the Tomb Raider series was truly amazing
DOOM
Battlefield 3/4/2, not so much Hardline or 1 I would say. BF3 says I've clocked up about 2200 hours, maybe shouldn't be proud of that on second thoughts

Excellent choices. These two plus Super Smash Bros for 64 sustained me through my hellish puberty years. And WCW/NWO Revenge.

Edit: Throwdown, did you not play the first Halo or just liked Halo 2 better?
 
The original battlefield 1942 is my favorite of all time. 32vs32 was mayhem back in the day. I still think the team work required put it above it's console reincarnations
