Some images linked to krokodil can be back searched and verified to originate as snake bites, spider bites, and MRSA infections. I'm shocked that I didn't see anyone posting about the bacteria. Sure, viruses were discussed, but a brief search or read of the "this can happen to you threads" and we all see necrotizing faciatius, MRSA and many things between, whose appearance are nearly identical.

I am not aware of the general healthcare system in Russia, but if they fear being outed as an addict more than withdrawls, it's likely that they are powerless to get proper wound identification or care.
