ethylphenidate dosage

Update: just finished my 0,5g of ethylphenidate.

About last night and today:

After my last post I kept taking small bumps untill about 2 AM and took a benzo at 3 AM to help me fall asleep but after that I took a few more bumps and stopped at 4 AM. Less than half of the original 0,5g was left. The benzo wasn't enough to help me sleep but I I managed to feel asleep at around 10 AM and slept til 3 PM. Woke up feeling pretty shitty but felt fine by 6 PM. Finished the rest (I think it was about 200mg) just now.

Final thoughts:

Wow, alot more fiendish then I thought. I originally wanted to take about 100mg yesterday and save the rest for the weekend but yeah that didn't work out so well :D Much better than methylphenidate for sure: it's not as rushy and doesn't have the same punch to it, but it but it's way smoother and the overal experience is alot more pleasant. Love it. I definitely want to buy this again. Gonna wait a few weeks for that though.

edit: Ouch, my nose got shredded more than I thought .. Two small nosebleeds today and and it feels very sensitive when I touch it inside. I had a water bottle next to me to put some moisture in my nasal cavities before and after every line but that didn't help much apparantly

Recently I've been reducing my dosage and finding it a lot more pleasant. Much less anxiety/tight chest business, more chilled like coke. Also smaller lines mean less nasal punishment. I find it mixes very well with alcohol, if I'm very drunk I only need a small line to bring me right up.

Due to a slight scale/puddle error o'er recent weekend I suspect my doses were a tad higher than before and I found it much smoother at *morethanafore* doses. Under said circumstance I couldn't rightly guesstimate doses much... but 1g lasted 24-36h in the presence of 1g of MXE. Ish. EPH was all plugged. Mex was all IM'd. Details are... not entirely detailed all the way through... Suspect I found a combo that suits (me) tho... briefly :|8)=D
 
A bump of MXE on top of an EPH high feels reeeeally fucking good. The tiniest amount of mxe will leave your head spinning and your dopamine flooding. Really doesn't feel good on the heart though, I wouldn't make a habit outta it. But as a special treat it's nearly justifiable.
 
Just a note on appearance which I found interesting- At the weekend I made a few bombs of shitalin, which was clear(ish) and crystalline when it went into some rizlas and broadly similar to granulated sugar. These went in a baggie in my pocket and as it turned out weren't needed, so at the end of the night I opened them up and returned contents to the bag to find that what had been in the wraps was now a fine powder that was bright white like flour.

I guess that being in a warm and humid pocket had caused the stuff to take on a lot of atmospheric water and that that coupled with the crystals rubbing each other caused this change in appearance. Or I've got magic pockets.
 
Try pouring flour into your pockets and see if it turns into crystal.
 
This cannot be ruled out and must be the subject of further experiments.
 
I'm starting to appreciate this shite a bit more now, seeing as it kept me functional and working for 20 hours yesterday. There was just a constant, very un-stimmy undercurrent of SORROW throughout the whole experience. Your textbook stim is like a big voice in your head booming 'do this, do that, you're on fire' whereas this was more like a small voice sitting on your shoulder reminding you of things which aren't great. Yes, you're very awake and capable of more than if you were unstimmed but there's a weird mood to it which put me off the first few times.
 
I don't know if it is just me but doses of 25mg+ seem a bit ott for me.

Usually I am the 1st when it comes to pushing a stim as far as possbile with no regard for my own well being, every other stimulant I have sampled I am usually taking high doses (as rated by erowid) off the bat, but I began my EPH doses with 2 15mg lines at around 1.

It took a while to build up into the main high, and I found I could maintain a good high with infrequent redoses of 10-15mg. Anything more and I needed to take 1.5ml GBL and an etizolam to calm it down.

This drug really seems at its best around the 25-50mg dose range. I get some nice coke feelings, not strung out at all, just 'powerful'.

I don't know if maybe this is because I was combining it wiht GBL and a few 0.4mgs of etizolam, but less is definitely more with this one.

Once the inital rush has subsided a dose of 25mg leaves you still feeling pretty damn nice and functionaly, any more and the rush turns into a bit of a jitfest :)

having said that I have only trialed it today...
 
Jancrow, I noticed something similar - not initially but the last few times I had it I didn't find it very enjoyable at all.. agreed on the keeping doses low thing too FT, higher ones just feel uncomfy to me.

I'd been messing with MXE for a couple for months and though I had the size of it, then I tried it with MPA at the same time, not big dose of either and it blew the fekin doors off:D I ws incapacitated for a good hour whilst I traveled a wonderful world of ancient scenery beyond description, left me feeling very odd for a bit afterwards though, couldn't make my mind up what I was or if I was for quite a bit, not sure I'd repeat the experience as I didnt really like MPA much. Shame there banning MXE quite licked a little dabet of an evening
 
I'm an idiot. And a very lucky idiot at that.

So I weighed up a 40mg bomb and a 50mg bomb for me and my mate.

But apparently things called "decimal points" are quite important when weighing doses. Not the first time I've made this schoolboy error, but DEFINITELY the last.

So 400mg and 500mg were bombed, totally by accident. :|

Fucking rushing my tits off for 5 hours, major aphrodisiac qualitites. If I had taken my bpm throughout would have probably scared me so much I'd have had a panick attack, but luckily I didn't. Guess it was up in the 160s. Now, its 12 hours later and resting bpm is dropping to 110, benzos done, lesson learnt.

^ I only posted this for a possible reference for other people that post here asking what to do after an ethyl OD.

If it wasn't for the alcohol in my system and the benzos I expect it would have been a very different experience, involving a&e. If you take this much that is what I would recommend.

Still unable to sleep 12 hours later.
 
Not wishing to be a dick... truly I'm not... but confusing 40-50mg with 400-500mg cos your scales are on the wonk just doesn't make any kinda sense at all. The difference between a "lil bit" and "a fuckin' shitload" can be eyeballed by anyone - no need for scales.

I plug ~500mg over 12h (and the other ~500mg over the following 12h) when I indulge and for me it actually smoothes out considerably at the slightly higher end of dosing. Lower doses tend to mainly bring on the jitters and chesty shite whereas "sloppy weighing" (meaning not quite sure if it's 50mg or 100mg or so (cos my scales are truly on the fritz now) but definitely not very much more cos half a gramme of anything is hard to not notice) seems to be far more pleasant all round. I actually repeated the experiement t'other day by carefully weighing each dose and making sure all were 75mg or under and it was way more jittery than when I let it slip into triple digits.

To make it clear, this is not a recommendation or encouragment to go silly with the stuff cos this is just my personal experience. But I have noticed that several of the more notoriously jittery stims actually become smooth as silk when you push the dose just a tad higher. Peev is a classic example. 5-10mg on the foil still has me lunging for the geeb/benzos (well, on the first few tokes of a fresh baggy anyway ;)) whereas 25-50mg in a bong is almost sedating.

Tis an odd thing with these heavily dopaminergics. Less is not more - more is less. For me anyway. Make of that what you will. YMMV.
 
I've had a few little goes with this and have to say have found it rather enjoyable, particularly with alcohol.

Been doing lines >25mg I'm guessing, snorted. I've got the new powder one, certainly eye watering but not unbearable and no problems the next day. Done less than 250mg over a couple of evenings. Gets a bit gurn-y after repeated doses...

Did a little dab of the stuff (unscientific and non-HR, but it was a very small dab and I have prior experience) to stay lively while waiting for my dealer.

I'm definitely inclined to say less is more with ethylphenidate, as many others have said. Despite etizolam, weed and a tiny bit of alcohol I wasn't supposed to buy but did, I'm feeling pretty alert and rather pleasant, all told.
