^ He retired five years ago. Considering that the United States is undergoing an opioid crisis at the moment, it's difficult for many pain patients to get medication. I don't think there are many psychiatrists willing to prescribe narcotic pain meds for this reason. I'm closing this but thanks to all for contributing.
