Am I to believe that you can make your own booze by mixing yeast with a non-acidic fruit juice and just letting it sit with a balloon over the top in a warm room? What are the chances of high methanol content?
These guys seem to think as long as you keep that shit away from a wood fire, you don't have to worry too much about methanol levels: http://homedistiller.org/methanol.htm
Anyone tried this before? I would think if the alcohol content was piss-poor you could just freeze the water out of the booze.
