Experimental/Chillout/Ambient/Downtempo/Trip hop MEGATHREAD

I have 4 words for you...God Is An Astronaut...so awesome, their best songs are Fragile, Darkfall, Sunrise in Aires, Infinite horizons and more <3 them. Moby is also good.

NPR is different everywhere, buddy.
not when you stream it on the net...check out NPR in your area for local listings of these types of broadcasts

^actually, NPR has many streams itself. but each NPR station also streams. You can not stream NPR live from NPR.org, you have to stream it from a member station. Most shows are streamable well after original air time, some are downloadable. I listen to NPR habitually, and all online. your'e doing it wrong, buddy.

Massive Attack is really good, but its Trip-Hop, not really ambient..although some people probably still classify it as ambient sometimes.

Sound Tribe Sector 9 studio albums are amazing.

"Live at Home" is the most ambient / chilled out.
"Artifact" is probably their overall best
