Dilaudid

tramadol does nothing more than panadol for my pain..
even doing 400mg codeine does nothing (but i am not a good metaboliser).
i've also tried digesic (Dextropropoxyphene) with the same results.

i don't know whats wrong with me, i was diagnosed with severe restless leg syndrome, but i have the nerve type pain and restless sensation in my legs 24/7 and none of the standard RLS meds have worked.

i've got tests and what not coming up, but i've been in the same pain for over a year now and am losing my shit because of it.
i just want to feel closer to normal again, couldn't care less about getting high and only want pain relief on the lowest dose needed.
i would prefer to try lyrica, but as i can't work, i cant afford it. so the opiate route may give me some relief.
 
Lyrica is great and will help more than opiates if it is neuropathic pain you are experiencing. Have you looked into neurotonin? It's very similar but covered by PBS. BTW just wondering do you find alcohol helps with the pain at all? Like more than panadol?

I would suggest seeing a pain specialist after having all your tests done if you get no where. We can't source on BL but pain specialists generally are very receptive to people suffering from pain and prescribe opiates more liberally in my experiences than GPs. Hope that helps.

On a serious note this thread makes me crave bad and in the last week I have done HM 3-4 times, often after reading this thread. It's no excuse for me weak willpower but was just wondering if anyone else gets this through bluelight?

Nah it's not just you. Bluelight always makes me crave. A lot of times I read bluelight and I can feel my back getting really sore, I don't know if it always has been and I only notice it when thinking about pain killers or if it's just a trigger system brought on by opiate addiction. Either way I commonly eat/snort some oxy or when I'm prowling bluelight.
 
Likewise, not just BL but reading about drugs, or watching movies/TV shows about drugs (which comprises a fair chunk of what I watch on a daily basis) definitely sets off some cravings.

I get that bad too LOL altho ive stopped hydromorphone 2 months ago, couldnt have made a better choice. That shit is so addictive n nasty:S be careful my friends.

Congrats Sus from me as well. I have tried to kick an opiate addiction (mainly oxy and hydro) for a long time and have been unsuccessful.

keep away from that shit. the FDA has revoked it from all american and canadian stocks because of it's toxicity in higher doses. not to mention it's a useless drug. hopefully australia follows suit soon.

FDA pulls Darvon painkiller due to safety risks

there's studies available as well with a quick google search.

Yeah it's absolute trash, I've popped them a few times for my back, less pain relief than codeine and far worse in terms of side effects, there's absolutely no excuse for prescribing this stuff over codeine or even tramadol.

Mind you I missed out on this thread before it was edited and I definitely don't take kindly to being talked in the way he did to you - I'd probably react the same way to be honest but reckon you went a bit overboard mate...

Very irresponsible to shoot something like that without micron filtering. But - people are going to do it, I suppose it'd be better for them to have some kind of guide than nothing at all. Tits shared his method, which he's obviously spent some time working on, and he did recommended using a micron filter.

I don't like some of the attitudes in here but I spose lots of people are like that. The AusDD has always been pretty bloody good in regards to harm reduction above all else.

Tits, did you edit your post and add a disclaimer about your high tolerance? Can't remember :p Probably a good idea if you haven't. I know you mentioned your tolerance elsewhere but people could get just your single post on a google search.
 
there's nothing wrong with a heated debate but there's no need for ad homs. i've got nothing to apologise for just because i'm a mod. sure i'm held to higher standards but i don't go out of my way to attack people nor treat them like shit, nor am i going to take it if it's been dished out.

i admit i could have handled the situation better but don't understand why i should be singled out just for being a moderator. i'm one and the same as all you guys except with some extra perks.

my main problem is poster quoting extreme combinations without any disclaimer to tolerance of their doses etc. i really don't think quoting personal heroic doses adds anything. it add nothing to HR and only puts unsuspecting readers at risk thinking "oh that dude who took 4mg xanax, 64mg of HM, 3ml of G and a gram of speed had fun, i might try it out" then we're adding another BLer in the shrine:|

people need to start exercising some restraint in what they're posting.

all good, i always read bout medication before taking it.
it blew me away that the Dr didn't mention anything at all in terms of the harm it can do.

i never went over 3 pills at one time cause i was pretty much scared shitless lol
not to mention the fact it just felt like a shitter version of tramadol.
 
im on oxycontin 20s 3 times a day for chronic pain and lyrica for r.s.d all relating to an operation on bulging damaged disc and cyatica nerve damage and full foot drop.i find that he oxy at first did help and some endone for breakthrought pain but a year later and my pain keeps growing.some good days some bad.if anyone suffers from some form of chronic pain knows what im talking about.its always their and it runs your life.as i was saying know the oxy has become habitual and i take an extra dose on the bad days.ive been reading alot in these forums and some from the u.s.some suggest that changing your pain meds regularly can benifit stop your receptors from getting use to the meds.would you say that it would be benificial to change over to dilauded.im not realy looking to get high but to get the pain under control and maybe prolong my daily painreleif.what do you think
 
@artist - Personally I find 20mg of oxy is a better painkiller than 8mg dilaudid (dillies snorted even for higher BA). However I would suggest trying it because everyone is different and gets differing effects from using the same drug as someone else. I for one found the length of hydromorphone to last a lot longer than 2-3 hours as wikipedia would suggest, finding it worked for around 5 hours.

The whole thing about regularly switching up pain meds to reduce tolerance and stuff...Don't bother. For these meds the receptor profiles are so similar that it won't do anything to switch between them. Some opiates like methadone have pretty different receptor profiles but they are generally less proficient as analgesics so I wouldn't bother.
 
Wow just shot 8mg of hydro and fuck it's an amazing feeling! Never shot anything other than hydro which i've only shot a handful of times but oh man! The feeling is amazing! Shout out to the dillies.
 
Yea IV Hydromorphone is alot better than IV Oxy or even H. Powerful stuff and so different or so i heard:)
