I've spent the past hour using the search engine, searching the opana megathread, etc and I simply cannot locate a definitive answer to this question:
How does one prepare the new generic Opana (oxymorphone) Instant Release pills of injection? I am very well versed in various methods of preparation for a variety of oxycodone, hydromorphone, and morphine pills for intravenous use, but this is uncharted territory for me.
The generic that I have is a round white pill with "54" above "814" on one side of the pill; totally blank on the other. I have confirmed elsewhere online that this is, indeed, a new(ish) generic formulation of instant release oxymorphone (and I've insuflated about 5mg to further banish any doubts
Thus far, the best i've been able to locate is a method for the original, name brand, red colored Opana IR's which involve crush, water, lots of stirring and time, (then possibly light heat, but I've always been of the opinion/knowledge that heating pills is counter productive), filter and bang.
I've only got a little more than one and a half left, so I don't want to waste any as I've yet to experience the wonders of the oxymorphone rush.
Anyone have any experience with this little guys? If I have simply erred in my searching skills, pointing me to the correct page would be much appreciated.
