That's about as politely as I can put it... it's time for another site prune.
What this means for Aus Drug Discussion is:
For the next month, the moderators of Aus DD will be going through this sub-forum and moving valuable threads to the Archive. As part of a site wide prune.
Members will help us by...
If there are any threads in that you want kept, please hit the
(Report) icon in the thread to let the mods know you want it archived.
I'd rather not enter into a long discussion about why this needs to happen, besides from being just a house-keeping exercise, unfortunately we just don't have the resources to keep every post every made on Bluelight.
We've been getting a lot more traffic recently and while many of us may not notice the slow page loads and timeouts the Americans are experiencing (our peak time is evening when the US is asleep), regular prunes are important to maintaining the site's performance.
Thanks for your help
What this means for Aus Drug Discussion is:
- All threads in Aus DD that have not been posted in this year have been moved into the PENDING DELETION - AusDD sub-forum. This covers posts from June 2008 to the end of 2009.
- A few threads from the Archive that don't really belong there have also been moved from the Archive (from about the middle of page 37 to the end, threads with a last post date before June 2008)
- Moderators will be going through the sub-forum and moving important, useful and generally awesome threads to the Archive.
- In one month, 15th December let's say, all threads remaining in PENDING DELETION will be
written out on paper by the mods and kept in a secret location for future police operationsdeleted.
