It's crazy how much difference in the amount of snow depending on where you are in the state. My town barely has 3-4 inches, but further east, it's a disaster. It took a buddy of mine 10 hours to travel 45 miles west on 78 after leaving Newark.
 
It's impossible to gauge how much snow we got because of the drifts. For my one neighbor it's up to their roof. Our street still isn't plowed, over 24 hours after the storm. So we've been trapped in the house since. I have no idea the condition of other roads because I can't get anywhere. I'm starting to run out of cigarettes too :(

Yea man, I'm in Easton over the Delaware and we got shit. Maybe 4-5 inches most. My old town back east of Newark got like 2 feet+

That's like 50-60 mile difference.
 
My heroin dealer is taking WAY to long to get to my house. What poor delivery service! sigh.

umm yeah MAYWOOD/stepan chemical co. has also been undergoing a masive superfund E/P/A clean up site do to ground penetration of all kinds of nasty shit both sides of rt 17 and thru out are contaminated. yeah stepan is the only u.s. government processor and authorjized extractor and manufacturer of all cocoa type products medicinal cocaine and flavor extracts for coca-cola syrup.
blah blah blah blah believe it or not i been tellin this one fer years ...that why i was surprised to to come acrooss it just now.....big whoop!! but its true iwas running demolition and dirt fill out of their plant and i wasn't allowed to exit the cab of my truck and i was escorted by a security guard to the dump site so as to make sure i did my job properly without grabing any of the dirty dirt? dont ask me why?? it was nothing like the demolition job i was on of the colgaTE toothpaste factory in hoboken where the dirt they loaded in my truck was layered throughout with various toothpaste flavors and colors etc etc heh heh heh what eva more later...... if yer interested et al.....

YEAH It varies fo sho. I was out fer 36 hours pushing da sno in paramus at one of da malls, What an endevor just tring to keep up with the wind and drifts blowing all about what a joke...... but like you've mentioned my house had grass on the one side of it and 25-30 inches of that white stuff on the opposite, go figure...man while i was plowin ya couldnt tell the actuall snow that was falling from above from the snow being blown about by the winds . fricken jersey hasnt seen a blizzard an actuall blizzard like the other night in years man. yeah what a blast deff got my hours in from this storm. unemployment can scracth their azzez ,hardasses........sumgunnzz

Sounds about right. I live just over the border from you. I make runs to Easton for cigs with my buddies all the time since it's only like 20 mins from me. But it was like nothing out here and then I went to cop in Newark and I was like damn, shits piled up over my head. I was there on new years and Raymond was still closed off between Lock and Washington going down that hill. It's crazy. I think the lack of money is really hurting public services in Newark. Fired all those cops, no garbage pick up for a while, no plows. None of it had melted either by new years since it was still so cold. I was celebrating new years freezing my ass off waiting for dude to show up. Damn DDT made me miss the 12:30 train, had to wait til 1:30 for the next one.
