I did a research, but didn't get anything.

I can get some tetrazepam, and have no tolerance so basically, my question is: For someone with no benzo tolerance, how much tetrazepam would it take to feel a buzz (I don't want to get *really* fucked up, I'm just experimenting...)?

Any feedback would be appreciated. :)

I would start with one or two, and work your way up if necessary. You can always take more, but you can never untake what you've already taken

Also, what a fantastic brand name. Spasmorelax

Never heard of that stuff. Do you have experience with benzo's? If so then maybe you could compare that to some more common ones.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetrazepam said:
Tetrazepam, (and is marketed under the following brand names, Clinoxan, Epsipam, Myolastan, Musaril, Relaxam and Spasmorelax) is a benzodiazepine derivative with anxiolytic and muscle relaxant properties. It is used mainly in Austria, France, Belgium, Germany and Spain to treat muscle spasm, anxiety disorders such as panic attacks, or more rarely to treat depression, premenstrual syndrome or agoraphobia. Tetrazepam has relatively little sedative effect at low doses while still producing useful muscle relaxation and anxiety relief.

The indicated adult dose for muscle spasm is 50 mg three to four times per day, increased if necessary to a maximum of 800mg per day, in divided doses. Tetrazepam is not generally recommended for use in children, except on the advice of a specialist.

Tetrazepam is only available in one strength and formulation, 50mg tablets. This dose is approximately equivalent to 5-7.5mg oral diazepam. Prolonged use, as with all benzodiazepines, should be avoided, as tolerance occurs and there is a risk of possible dependence and a benzodiazepine withdrawal syndrome after stopping or reducing dosage.

Sounds like the least potent benzo ever. Am I right?

Yeah, this benzo does not seem very potent at all.. 50mg equivalent to 5mg valium??? wow. It does say that you shouldn't exceed more than 800mg daily, so maybe people take quite high doses. The muscle relaxant properties however do seem interesting to me.

Wow....PureLife I thought that phenazepam that you brought up was the worst but I think this one has squeeked by as by far the worst sounding benzo. YAY 5-7.5mg's what bitch haha

Well then how much diazepam should a benzo first-timer (except for two medicinal doses of 1.5 mg of bromazepam) take, so that I can convert it to tetrazepam dosage? :)

15-20mg of diazepam so I guess 3 or 4 of those tablets would be a decent dose for a first timer.

I would say 15-20mg is better for a decent buzz, I doubt you would get a lot from the equivalent of 10mg diazepam you would certainly feel it but not strongly at all.

Well,if a 50mg cost the same or less than a 5mg Diazapam - and you're into benzos then give it a whirl..

So I was supposed to be prescribed some tetrazepam today but only got useless shit.

Anyway I like tetrazepam, it may be weak but the muscle relaxing qualities are great.

Too bad, maybe another time.

Yea this seems to be better suited as a muscle relaxant, anxiolytic and anti-epileptic rather than a Hypnotic.
Though reading the adverse effects section of it's page on Wiki, it doesn't sound like too nice a Benzo at all 8o

One person's experience

For what it's worth a friend gave me a 20 pack of Tetrazepam (Merck) 50 mg because I was having very bad leg cramps. I took one going to bed & suffered a lot worse. It was the nastiest drug I have ever taken. I needed 20 mg valium to calm down and get some sleep. When I told the friend that gave them to me all he said was "Yes they're terrible - why do you think I gave them to you". They may work for some people but start on a low dose. They're not licensed in UK (as previously mentioned).

Is it a hypnotic?

no its apparently not hypnotic at all.

as another poster has mentioned, one of the least potent benzos available.

earlier on i took 400mg (8x50mg tabs) in one go and felt hardly a thing :( brand name (winthrop medicaments)

What is the half life time of this benzo ? it is never mentionned in classic charts

Is it a fast acting benzo ?

Got a pack of those, 20X 50mgs, tablets, they do seem pretty useless, I'm a bit of a benzo-naive and yet I've munched down 5 today with a few beers and it feels lighter than a couple of valiums.

Last night I did 6 mgs bromazepam, a few spoonfulls of Kratom, a few cans of lager and I think around five or six of these tetrazepams and I was feeling quite alright for as long as I managed to stay awake, still overall quite a worthless benzo.

The good thing about it, is that is totally, completely, erases restless leg syndrome from opiate WDs, which is something worth remembering, so if you have a supply of it, stash it somewhere for when you actually have a need for it.
