- I procrastinate while learning
- I've tried new drugs I hadn't even heard of before
- I've met some really really cool people and hope to meet some more
- I've been opened to new thoughts and ideas.
- I plugged.

I haven't yet found a better forum that is so diverse and useful all in once place.

I met the person who I am currently in a relationship with here. It's crazy really, the circumstances that bring people to this site and the outcomes that can follow.
 
-I helped get knowledge on how to save a marriage
-I have gathered none bias information on the effects on drugs and how to use them safer
-I have seen people find their strength
-I have seen them lose all control
-I have seen many more deaths that have touched those we have never meet

because of bluelight i've vastly improved my self esteem while subsequently wasting enormous amounts of my employers paid hours
 
Eh I do now and then. I just try to know my place here. :) I know, I'm being serious and its the lounge.

because of bluelight:

i found that there really is such a thing as a talking junkie;
sometimes you get much more than what you pay for;
some people really think that incessant complaining will get them laid; and ...... erm
posting after work hinders one's ability to come up with witty things

- I have had my eyes open to some harsh realities that I was otherwise sheltered from
- My knowledge of drugs and harm minimisation has dramatically increased
- I have had the opportunity to help and support many people in their times of need
- I have received the help and support from others in my times of need
- My music taste has greatly broadened
- I always have a friend to talk to, regardless of the time of day/night :)

because of bluelight, the entire world has seen my tits, yoo-hoo, and ass, and i use up a lot of gas going to visit people.

nearly all of the above. being on bluelight for the past 5/6 years sure has 'wasted' a lot of my time, but it has flipped my life turned upside down. i have met 40 wonderful people that i would never EVER have met or even spoken to, with the thrilling promise of meeting many more. amsterdam in july is going to be so fucking amazing and unmissable. (let's not get sidetracked onto that subject, there are loads of other threads.)

i reluctantly allowed my brother into my secret little bluelight life and it was the best thing i ever did. it's great having him around.

i've improved my photography skills massively, thanks to the photo competitions and the comments from people who are FAR better than me. i now usually carry a post-it in my wallet with a list of upcoming competitions and see the world through potential photos. ;)

i've become a lot more open-minded and compassionate towards people who are 'different' to me.

i've discovered that taking drugs and staying in, fannying about on BL or MSN or AIM chat can be amazingly good fun. :D and there is always someone to talk to, somewhere in the world!

this is a wonderful thread, kyt, let's not allow it to be spoiled please, mods! <3 this one has legs for SO and the regional forums too, then Best of Bluelight. :)
