EMD Progressive house

Prog house is by far my fav genre....

The above suggestions are great....But the big time headliner DJ's that claim prog house ultimately play all diff forms of house in their sets....

Hernan Cattaneo is my fav headliner DJ and he's one of the more consistent....but his sets sometimes veer off the traditional prog house sound as well...

Here's a prog DJ/producer Im REALLY feeling atm...check out his mix...Very unique prog house sound...

Here's the rest of his sets....Fucking killer!!! Awesome producer too...

Now I was raised on late 90's progressive, and to be honest hardly listen to the stuff anymore, its been so played out. That being said, a couple weeks ago I found this mix thats totally up my alley; its mainly techy, housy, progressive stuff--and it gets pretty minimal too but I've been surprised by how much I keep listening to it.

If anyone could ID the track that drops at about 16:18 that would be awesome, its one of the most sick minimal tracks I've heard in a minute.

Nick Warren's new GU: Lima, Peru 035 is absolutely amazing

One of the best prog comp albums ever made imo

and that would constitute an "odd prog house track here or there". look im not going to get into genre wars but i could post tracklists of recent sets and cd comps and you would see that prog house is far from the majority of tracks that they play- they're house/techno/tech-house djs now.
They don't really play particularly similar music any more. Sasha definitely does still play a fair bit of prog though, and in fact Invol2ver has shown he still hasn't forgotten the old days, with tunes such as "That You Might". As you correctly said, Sasha does play a lot of tech house now, as well as some techno. His emFire productions have been largely based on these genres.

As already stated, you only have to listen to Digweed's radio show to see he also still does play a fair bit of prog. Digweed has without a doubt moved towards techno a fair amount now, after an electro-fling which he never really got comfortable with. He's found his feet again now though, and possibly better than ever. His latest Transitions album (4) is exceptionally good.

I wouldn't say that either Sasha or John play very much straight up house, although they do play a bit. personally I hear them play a lot more prog house these days than house.

Daniel Portman is my most respected progressive house artist, listen to his new album if you ever get a chance...

Sasha and Digweed: Communicate was my favorite prog comp. Havent givent it a spin in a while now so not sure how its aged.

Insane Creation: Connected..... Get it! Get it NOW... Its golden

there is a non-existent subgenre that i like to call "power prog" and i'm hoping there's a treasure trove of it somewhere that i haven't found yet. i'm talking about tracks that are clearly progressive house - subtle, melodic, driving, beautiful - but also super dynamic, punchy, heavy hitting and not at all boring. all the sophistication; none of the snooze. here's a relatively famous power prog track to give you a better idea of what i mean:

gareth emery presents runaway - "outrageous"

i have a couple of new tracks that are bad ass motherfuckers in this category as well. seek them out if you're a fan of this sound:

chris lake and rowan blades - "malteaser geezer"
way out west - "we love machine (jaytech remix)"

i think a lot of releases on the boz boz label qualify as power prog as well. i'm not looking at my music library right now, but recommendations in the style of quivver, lank (producers) baroque records (label), etc. would be appreciated. who else is churning out this awesome stuff?

edit: another essential power prog track from my retired collection:

graham & blades - "argie bargie"
