yay for being able to pick more than one!

voted for
goa trance
progressive psytrance
psytrance
acid trance (why so few votes? that stuff is great! even better than a lot of the psytrance released nowadays)
acid techno

hey guys dont call me picky but i dont think that reggae and dub are electronic styles. yeah dubstep is but thats not the same as dub and plus dub developed in the 60's right behind reggae, before there were any samplers capable of making what we consider electronic music. "These early 'dub' examples can be looked upon as the prelude to many dance and pop music genres"

I picked...

Dubstep
dnb
grime
liquid funk
atmospheric
chillout
grime
trip hop

Ambient

Cliffs - Aphex Twin

Drum & Bass / Jungle

Take Me Away - Chase & Status

Liquid Funk

Thunderchild - Logistics

listened to those 3 today as it happens!

I suppose all I could say I really listen to from that list is Trip Hop, though I do listen to lots of music with electronic devices in it. Just not strictly electronic instruments.

Dub is definitely electronic music imo...all that mixing desk sound tweakage, reverb, overdubs and whatnot are created electronically in the studio.

i voted for ambient because i was listening to it at the time but could have gone for
Trance (old school goa, acid, psy, zenon style prog, etc)
Dub (ambient, minimal,roots, dubstep)
Techno (minimal, detroit style)
IDM
and a little bit of House

Liquid Funk

I like the poll and how you have liquid funk there. That's my second fav dnb but where is the tech/neuro dnb?? =(

Tiesto

tiesto all the way baby, yea I know hes not underground but he makes the best tunes every, elements of life :D

Hardcore and Gabber for me! Tho, that's what I spin, so I'm kinda biased ;)

I do enjoy old school jungle too though, shit like Panecea. Though, I enjoy any track of pretty much any genre if it's produced well and has a good beat :)

YUH Electro House ftw. I love all kinds of house and electro shit though as well.

I have never been clear on what all these genres and sub genres mean. Maybe some knowledgeable bluelighters can help me out by placing these artists into the appropriate sub genres:

Sasha and Digweed
Nick Warren
Carl Cox
LTJ Bukem
Paul Van Dyk
Nostrum
