And i didn't know up until my current girlfriend, but she actually commented that it was less enjoyable for her as well, which surprised me. I only thought it effected guys in terms of sensation.

:\

This is true. I don't like condoms either. I can feel a difference for me and I can tell my man isn't as excited. It's a must of course if you're not in a monogamous relationship, but I can definitely tell a difference.

l have been with my guy for 7 years and we use condoms. The pill has always made me sick.

The pill made me sick too. I use a ring now and it's 100% better. The only thing to worry about is that if a guy is using his fingers, he can accidentally pull it out (happened to me once :-/ ). I went and got the morning after pill, but now I just check to make sure it's still there. My doc said it's ok as long as I put it back in right away. I didn't happen to notice until 2 days later.

I'll use them if I don't know the guy at all, it's a hook up, and I really want to suck his cock. I don't like how they taste but I figure that it's better than getting HIV or other STDs from some random stranger who I'll never see again.

I don't use them for getting blown. I don't have anal sex, use sex toys, or have vaginal sex.

I'm in a relationship and I don't use them. My girl is on the pill, and we don't use condoms. We used to in the beginning of our relationship, but I know we're both clean. However lately my anxiety has been bothering me a bit and I'm wondering if I should start using condoms again for now, since I really don't want a child at this time.

^^ if she is using the pill faithfully, don't worry too much. It's 99% effective. I've been on birth control since I was 20 (12 years now) and the only accidents I've had was when I was stupid and tried to come off of them and use a diaphram. I hate the pill, but it works.

Well she got pregnant on the pill before, which worries me, however I don't know if women who have gotten pregnant on the pill are more prone to it happening again or what.

I'm not in a relationship and I'm not having sex. But if I were, I'd most definitely use protection (+ I'm on BC). I'm super paranoid about STD's.

No and I feel guilty about it . . . need 2 get tested (it costs like $65 and is not convienient) and my BF/f-buddy doesn't use 'em either and he should. I always offer my partners a condom and ask them if I should use one. I could very easily get aids 'cause I bleed sometimes.

GoddessLSD-I don't like paying for getting tested either.

It's weird as a queer man my doctor gave me the Hep A vaccination for free but I have to pay to get tested for HIV/hep C/syphilis. :! :X

I'm looking into free testing from free clinics/planned parenthood because I don't want to pay for something I get done once/twice a year.

does she tell you if she misses a dose or gets off-track with it? i've heard almost all my girlfriends who are on the pill say at one time or another that they've gone off-schedule accidentaly (anywhere from 1 dose to several weeks on end) and they don't bother telling their boyfriends because they don't want them to worry about it...

Not in a relationship and I do... absolutely.

There's was just one time I didn't, but that was with my last 'girlfriend' (for lack of a better term), while we weren't in a COMPLETELY monogamous relationship, we were together.

Also, we got STD tested every month, neither of us had been with anyone else in two months (well, she was with another girl, but that was it), she was on birth control, AND we had taken a little "chemical cocktail" that had the nasty side affect of assuring that I wouldn't be able to climax...
So it was a pretty unique situation lol.

Well, we were crazy horny, and couldn't find a condom. (There was only one guy there that had one, but he needed it :p)

Oh, and if anyone is wondering, I came out fine, I've been tested about half a dozen times since then, and I'm still clean. (Which I knew I would be... we never messed around with that crap, it's just not worth it.) :)

anyone who feels the need to be tested as often as ever month can't expect to be clean for much longer... unless you're just paranoid...

I am in a monogomous relationship and I do not use condoms or any other form of birth control.

I feel comfortable enough with my body right now that I think I know when I am ovulating in which case he pulls out. Honestly though I think my body is still fucked up (2 years later) from the Depo Provera shot and I am most likely not ovulating at all (my cycle is about 45 days right now) We are well aware and prepared for the consequences of our lack of birth control

We do keep condoms on hand in case we're in the car or someplace/time that we want easy clean up

The thing with the pill is you're supposed to take it at the same time every day religiously. If you miss, you have to double up which made me sick as a dog. You're also supposed to use a backup birth control method which some people don't do since you don't normally have it handy if you're on the pill.

She might be interested in a vaginal ring. Insert it once a month and don't worry about it. For me, I don't get sick on it. The down side is the guy has to be careful when he does oral.

why are most bluelighter's in relationships? is it because we have more love in our life in general?

to quote a commercial for "It's always sunny in Philadelphia"

girl-->"did you bring condoms?"
guy--->"condoms?!!! who uses those anymore?

funny shit.
I definately use a condom when not in a committed relationship. But for the past almost 2 years I've been with my gf and she's on the pill :D so no condoms for us.
very stupidly, me and my ex gf never used any birth control (we used condoms maybe 3 or 4 times over about 2 years) and had sex at least 4-5 times a week. and she never got pregnant. I was young and stupid but damn i got lucky and all i can say is never ever again

I wish I could say I was shocked at the number of people that are not in a relationship and dont use protection, but given the number of guys that have tried to have bareback sex with me I guess it should come as no surprise.

For those not in the know, I'm an escort and have sex with about 25 different guys on a good week, When someone asks me to bareback I just want to ask them if they realize how many people I've been with. Doing some quick math I think I've been with close to 700 or better by now. Depending on the time of month or day of week, If it's an evening appointment chances are I've been with at least 2 guys already that day and it's not uncommon for me to be with 5 guys in a day.

Yet people still want to bareback me.

Guys, if you dont like that standard condoms feel, experiment with different brands and ultra thins and polyurethanes.

Personally I use lifestyle brand ultrathins, They're inexpensive because they're available in boxes of 36sometimes with an extra 4 for "free" yay, feel the best on my end i've found standard trojans and bulk pack durex to be a little uncomfortable or even painful for me. I always use the ultrathins because I don't want to negate my clients feeling and have them going at it any longer then I have to, and the lifestyle ultrathins seem to get most guys to pop in just a few minutes.

I've heard that polyurethanes allow for the most sensation on the guys side, i've only experienced them once, I was told that they transfer heat better but they're not as stretchy so they're not quite as one size fit all. Also they cost like over a dollar each and I'm a cheapskate cause I go through condoms fast.

Another tip is to use lubricant inside the condom, this allows your dick to slide around in the condom so that it feels better, on top of reducing the chance of breakage also I think you should try and use condoms with a flared head, they dont seem to squeeze the head as much on most guys which should allow for better friction as well.

I haven't experimented with every brand or style offered but the lifestyles ultrathins seem to work great for making my work short. So i can only assume that means they feel fine on your end.

I'm in a monogamous relationship, I'm on birth control, and we've both been tested, so we don't use condoms. Except the past few times, because I was on antibiotics and don't want any babies. Damn penicillin.

Ok, you got me on your raw numbers. I can put up some fairly high scores on the total partners scoreboard. . . but not in the 700 club. ;)

I stopped this poll at 50+. but now I think I should have added some more options in the higher ranges to see how those of us in the "more active" category distribute above 50. Call it morbid curiosity - or latent competitiveness?

Peace,

Fausty
