Pretty accurate!!

I'm an ENFP as well. The discription was damn accurate.
" General: ENFPs are both "idea"-people and "people"-people, who see everyone and everything as part of an often bizarre cosmic whole. "

"ENFPs have what some call a "silly switch." They can be intellectual, serious, all business for a while, but whenever they get the chance, they flip that switch and become CAPTAIN WILDCHILD, the scourge of the swimming pool, ticklers par excellence. Som etimes they may even appear intoxicated when the "switch" is flipped. "
this is hilarious... because it's true. :)

i'm an extreme ISTJ, i took the test a few years back but i'll have to re-take it now :)

The Guardian

Finally, I come across some ISFJs! (High-fives beanergrl and AmberEx)

I took this test about 3 years ago for my Honors Seminar class (we were studying Jung). I just took the online one now and I'm still an ISFJ, though the only preference that I am very strong in is introversion. Which basically means that I'm just a misanthrope, though I didn't need the Meyers-Briggs to tell me that!
I think the description of my type gives some good insight into the kind of person I am, but it makes it sound like I'm very boring, and I'm only that way part of the time!! ;)

ENFJ - The Teacher

Class is in people!!

First lesson,
Judging doesnt mean like judging people and stuff it means from reading the FAQ
J types show the world their decision-making Judging function and P types display the more open-ended perceiving, data-collecting function.

Whoot! Whoot!

ISFJs in the house!! *high fives Isolde back* *waves @ amberX*

I agree it does make us sound exceptionally boring and like we have no life of our own. Where is this other side of me represented in it? I think while they are highly accurate you can't totally judge someones personality from it because i think that with everyone these test only touch the surface and not the core. It is the life that a person brings to their type that cannot be defined. For example, i may be all of those things, but i do take risk after i carefully analyze the situation forever. And i am also a very happy person with a positive attitude and outlook in life. I think that makes me enjoyable to be around when i want to be around people. This can't come across if you only read my type without knowing me. This makes it sound like i am all seriousness and no play.

Also, from my personality type it would imply that i get walked on all the time. Well, i have at times been used BUT i am strong enough to recognize when it is happening and will stand up for myself. I just don't like confrontation, but if pushed- watch out.

I've noticed that ENTPs have the need to have areas of expertise/excellence/uniqueness in which one is second to none.

That is so dead-on its not funny.

Im ENTP as well.. and i FULLY agree.. %)

I've taken this test several times, a lot of groups that I have participated have used it as a tool to recognize the strengths and weaknesses of their members. I've found it to be fairly accurate, but I'd warn against using it to predict behavior.
Myers-Briggs isn't intended to predict behaviour, nor really even to classify behaviour.

I'm an ENFP and it pretty much nails me.

I am a ISFP, from what I read its pretty accurate. I did drop out of high school. I also tend to run from things.

ISFJ! Though I don't know, sometimes when I take tests like these I'm indecisive as to which of the two available options suits me best, ya know? It's like jeez, I can only choose "YES" or "NO"? The descriptions of this type seem fairly accurate, though I don't know if I'd say they're dead on in all aspects.

Introverted Intuitive Feeling Judging

i pretty much saw that one coming.

ISFP.

A lot of it makes sense, but some is way off. I'm not a radical thinker nor dislike structured education (I finished school and uni and loved them, although I admit I do sort of follow my own unique method of working within that structure). I'm certainly not into 'hip' fashions! :D Christ no. But I like the analogy of the "Composer" - I very much see myself that way, weaving life's elements into harmony. I often feel 'dead inside', and can bolt when I feel trapped, and am good at finding common ground with people.

Some of the questions I could have gone either way, though: it's hard just to say "yes" or "no", like it's black or white. I mean some days I like socialising with heaps of people, others I want to shut myself off from the world. I wonder if I took the test while in an outgoing, gregarious mood would my result be different?

PS. By the way my "Feeling" score was 100%. Is this unusual?

ENFJ
Ive known about this test for a couple of years and find the result extremely accurate. Im a ENFJ (only the second to post here!) and the describtion on the type logic site fitted me down to the ground. I like helping others and often take on more burdens of other than i can bear(unintentionally of course!). ENFJ's are usually seen as teachers, and in my everyday life i can see this, as im always trying to get my mates to see better solutions that will benefit us as a whole. Anyway hopefully some more ENFJ's will post up:)

Although i have a lot of problems answering these types of questions. I wonder what the outcome would be if somebody else answered the questions on my behalf?

Despite almost 5 years spent working in clinical psychology in the earlier part of my career, I've never bothered to be MBTI tested nor even take much professional notice of this personality test - despite it being widely used by Relate and other leading therapeutic providers.

I had a test done today as part of a team building exercise and I was totally bowled over by how accurate and how perceptive the results were. I've already decided to make a few changes to how I work based on the results. I was that impressed. I suppose it helped that we had an excellent facilitator.

Alasdair started a similar thread years ago, but I thought it was time to start another.

I came out as an ISTJ.

I am an ENFJ

I remember taking this test when I was in college.
