Does anyone know if E is catabolic to our muscles? I always feel flat the next day with some loss of strength and motivation two days later (I never work out the day after a roll). I've been guessing that most of this is the result of not eating enough, but I'm also paranoid that E may be physiologically catabolic in some way as well.
The keep this roid related. I came off of my very first cycle (about a month and a half ago) which consisted of dbol, sustanon and deca. Prior to this I had been lifting avidly for 7 years, and hit a plateau at 175 lbs. (5'9"). The cycle kicked me up to 205 lbs. after 8 weeks, and right now I'm maintaining at 198lbs. (although it's tough!). One thing I learned about roids from this cycle was that it ain't no walk in the park! All the added hormones and chemicals were pretty tough on my body. I suffered from severe insomnia, high blood pressure and the water retention was a bit uncomfortable. Also, I found out that I was slightly allergic to the propionate in the sustanon (not too unusual) so I always had flu-like symptoms the day after my injections. Ah yes, and the sexual side effects!
I had the most incredible sex-drive (like I was 16 yrs. old again!) but had deca-dick (temporary impotency from the deca) even though I had a good amount of testosterone (sustanon) in my cycle as well. Well, I fixed the deca-dick with viagra, but then realized that I couldn't achieve orgasm! WTF?? Luckily all of that was temporary, as I am back to normal in every facet right now. FYI I also did post cycle supplementation with clomid, proviron, cyclofenil, clenbuterol, etc. and it was very helpful in weening me off the cycle. Wouldn't do a cycle w/o it!
With that said, I thought it very interesting that I didn't suffer from any of the side effects I thought I would suffer from (e.g. increased aggression, hair loss, gyno, acne, etc.)
I'll have to say that there is a whole hell of a lot more to learn about roids (than most other drugs) prior to usage if you want to mitigate as many of the side effects as possible. My personal bible was the World Anabolic Review. A very good crash course in learning about proper usage of roids.
