Roger Sanchez, Sven Vath and Chemical Brothers were absolutely fantastic... Digweed was just ok :( A shame because he is one of my favourite DJs..

Man, from 4 till 8 is insane (sydney). Trying to see Halliwell, Evil Nine, Vath, Digweed, Shulz and more in that period. However, i'm more than happy to contend with that instead of missing either Vath or Chemicals, which is what i thought was happening.

So as an approximate, this is what i'm doin:

12pm > Archie/Ben Morris/Goodwill/Look around

1pm > Goodwill/Kato

2pm > James Taylor/Carl Kennedy

3pm > Carl Kennedy/Elite Force

4pm > Datarock/Elite Force/Roger Sanchez

5pm > Sven Vath/Evil Nine/Markuz Shulz/Laidback Luke

6pm > Evil Nine/Sven Vath/Eddie Halliwell/John Digweed

7pm > John Digweed/Eddie Halliwell/Evil Nine/Elite Force (2nd show)

8pm > Chemical Brothers

Fuckin can't wait. Should be sensational.
 
^Laidback Luke was quite disappointing in Brissie if that's any help ;) From what I heard Schulz killed it!
 
Just got back from the perth show, chems were insane. Didn't play alot of what i thought they'd play but an awesome set

Eddie Haliwell and Sven Vath were really good. Digweed didn't really get into it, no crowd involvement, just sat there twiddling his knobs.
 
Me and my girlfirend can no longer make it to Sydney future music festival, so I have 2 spare tickets for sale.
Willing to sell cheaper than ticketmaster.

Hopefully ill be recovered enough from surgery to be able to make this...still havent got tix yet, been waiting on industries for agees!! But should be settling myself at the main stage for most of the day i should think...

Shulz is brilliant. Only time i've heard him was when he opened for Armin a few years back and that was amazing. For a guy who's not that into trance anymore, he's a standout for sure cause he made me take notice :D If i can see him I will....

....however Evil Nine and Sven Vath are on at the same time so it prolly won't happen :D

Went to the perth show myself yesterday, and I agree with you. The Chems set wasnt quite what I was expecting, didnt play many 'dancey' tracks, more the style of mucic you can just stand there and nod your head. I loved it though.

Works for Dj Shadow. Who also has an amazing visual accompaniment (which I get the impression that the Chems also have.)

Though after absolutely losing my shit to Hey Boy Hey Girl when it was played at Good Vibes last month, I was kind of expecting the Chems at Future to be dancing-filled.

Oh well. I guess I will see how they are this Saturday. :D
